anon,
I had a double jaw surgery this week, I I have a sick leave until september and plenty of codein & opium powder for the pain. At first I wanted to read books, but reading is gay, so instead, I'm asking you for a watchlist.

Watch nu-wars starring Daisy Ridley
not my problem
>I had a double jaw surgery
Why?
He's Korean and trans.
so they made it smaller and then smaller?
He's ftm. Larger to look like a man, then smaller to look like an Asian male.
sound extensive, get well soon OP
my jaw was fricked up, it pushed against the pharynx and caused breathing issue, especially during the night (sleep apnea)
Did you get your insurance ro pay for it, and what was the process like of getting the surgeryvitself approved? If in the USA I mean
I live in France
5mm for the maxilla, about 2cm for the mandible
I hope so. My weak chin bothered me when I was younger, and as I grew older I stopped thinking about it, until the weak motherfricker started to mess with my sleep.
>2cm for the mandible
Holy frick. At least now you'll look human. I wish you a good recovery
mind posting a pic of your lower jaw?
Sure. I took this picture a few hours before the surgery
see
very anglo
omg. can you post a pic from today too?
i wish you the very best healing. this is why surgery was invented in the first place.
here you go. Still very swollen. I'll have an idea about the definitive result in about 12 weeks.
Looks lot better but you need even more advancements like a lot more
I've already talked with the surgeon about this, once the bones are fully healed I might consider a second surgery to get a better result. My mandible was simply too short to go beyond the current result. The broken mandible bones still needs to be in contact with each other in order to heal, so any further advancement would have compromise a proper healing.
I believe this is also the principle behind those surgeries that lengthen your leg bones. It needs to be done multiple times.
You still look like a chud the frick? Why didnt they add more if they were in there anyway?
have you been a mouth breather most of your childhood/teens?
do you get air through your nose easily?
Get on minoxidil for your beard and fix your posture bro.
2cm mandible advancement? Holy shit that's insane. They literally gave you a gigachad jaw
No, they gave him a normal jaw. He just had an extremely meme tier recessed face
I recommend Cronenberg filmography
Cosmopolis
The best watch list anyone can recommend is the kinography of beloved Canadian television and film actress Sarah Gadon.
name of the movie shes a cute goth gf?
Letterkenny. It's a series.
God she's fricking gross. I hate your posts and you're a terrible poster. You are worse than the bug poster.
I had to have upper jaw surgery to fix my bite. Technically it was an underbite but my lower jaw was well developed, and my maxilla was recessed. So only the top half being moved was best.
Most painful recovery of my life plus couldn’t east solids for ages.
Morphine made it feel a little better though
Yes, it's pretty tough right now. It's been 5 days since the surgery, the pain is manageable during the day with medication, it is more difficult at night. Waking up when the painkillers have worn off really sucks.
How have those 5 days been?
Gonna go trough the same surgery in a year or and I never had surgery ever so I'm kinda curious about the whole process. Wish you the best recovery
>How have those 5 days been?
not great. It's not that painful (except when you wake up during the night & you have to wait until the painkillers kicks in), but so far it's very, very uncomfortable. My face is super swollen. My lips & chin are completely numb, I can barely close my mouth, I'm drooling like a moron. So, I have very little control with anything related to my mouth. Plus, my jaws are held together by rubber bands. I have to eat cold stuff only with a syringe.
But that's not the worst part. To ease my breathing issues, the surgeon also performed a septoplasty. My nose is completely blocked, and I can't blow my nose for a month. I can only breathe through my mouth, which I have very little control of so far. It's not only uncomfortable, it's actually quite anxiety-provoking.
> Wish you the best recovery
Thanks anon
>your skull is full of foreign objects for the rest of your life
It's just titanium, it doesn't react with anything and doesn't make you beep at the airport. And you can get a surgery to remove the titanium stuff once your bones are fully healed, if you want to.
are the results going to be worth it? your skull is full of foreign objects for the rest of your life
Will you have a chad jawline and chin now though?
If you have so much time go for vidja too.
KOTOR I&II are like 100h total, mass effect 120h, cyberpunk, RDD I&II... You have easily for 1000+h of stuff .
Next pick IMDB and go for the top 250 AND < 1980. Check if you find someone's list with good taste and check the rest.
Finally check the the few animus that are worthy (Cinemaphile is a better place to ask) i like gist, stand lone complex, eva and FLCL, gun/diebuster, yamato2199 and anything by watanabe, oshii or kon.
>inbf, pleb
The Prisoner (60s series)
Also, do read: Aesop's Fables are short and fun
How many millimeters did they push your maxilla further if you dont mind me asking?
Not OP but I can use a rec chart or two.
Try one of Cinemaphile's favorite films.
just grow a beard
Rewatch some long series like LOST
