I turned 360 degrees and walked out
Was this really rape? She made it obvious she was interested but played hard to get and probably would have done it right there and then but inevitable would have surrendered to his advances. She even looks back on it fondly. I feel like would be so many examples like that in history where a woman unconsciously expects the man to just take what they want from them but nowadays you will get locked up for it, and then they would get married or something.
None of them were really well cast if they were going for comic-accurate except maybe Jackie Earle Haley. I think he could have played the comic version of Rorschach/Walter if the script followed the comic better and the director worked with him, but the rest were off by too much. The guy playing The Comedian was all wrong and wore a muscle suit.
None of the actors aside from Haley tried all that hard, either because they were thinking it's some dumb superhero movie or because they had little to bounce off of or work with.

counterargument. >I was a hero goddamnit!
God damn if Carla wasn't the absolute pitch perfect cast for SS1
Hot take: Watchmen isn't that good, and the characters don't really talk to one another that much for how long it is. It's basically a story about archetypes and style over substance. Snyder's movie is honestly about as best they can do, other than maybe the DC animated version coming out that will probably be 1:1.
the on-the-nose gaygit soundtrack ruined the movie >show changing times >come gather round people starts playing
this is why his daughter killed herself
The opening montage was great. Pumping so much backstory (that has little impact on the plot) in a few pictures and starting the movie with a good tune was a good beginning.
It's okay. In a way, one of the few scenes that was similar to the comic, partly because of the super slo-mo, because each shot captured so much information at once.
>Le montage
I liked that context scene but didn't that come after the dramatic apartment murder of that anti captain America guy?
(I haven't watched this mostly depressing schlock in years, won't again.)
Despite being responsible for Manhattan leaving the earth and being the product of her mother's rape, another episode that influenced Ozy to execute his plan. She is completely oblivious to the plot
It's her face, she's not ugly but the absurd amount of make up is confusing, her costume sucks ass, she's the earliest version of >Le epic gurrl boss kween! Look at her smash those evil white males!
(Remember the outrageous prison scene)
Nah. But I tainted my bedsheets to her performance.
Couldn't they have hired a natural brunette who could actually act? She wasn't even that hot.
The actress that played Janey was lovelier. Both bad actresses.
I'd like her to perform on my taint if you catch my meaning
the only good cast is the Comedian, and he basically starts dead

Or am I completely off base here.
>the 50 year old boomer who was supposed to be 16 in most of his flashbacks scenes was a good cast

Her acting wasn't very good either.
Start a blog homosexual
>if the script followed the comic better
With the exception of the ending, how much more comic-accurate was the movie supposed to be?
There wasn't all the commentary from the meta comic book series inside of a graphic novel series.
There is in the extended cut.

Rorschach, Nite Owl, Comedian, and Manhattan were perfectly cast.

Snyder's music choices are always hilarious, like that zombie movie ending with The Cranberries' Zombie.
>Lounge against the Machine's version of Down with the Sickness starts playing
Sucker Punch is unbelievable with that shit ever song is so on the nose and cheesy not to mention overproduced shitty covers
Making Malin Åkermann a brunette was just moronic. She is a great blonde.
I need to taint every inch of her body with my cum
Almost had kino casting. What could’ve been
Uncanny resemblance.
That dude's dick is just grotesque. Worst botched circumcision I've seen in my life
Its why you watch the ones where its caged, if there was ever a dick meant for that, its Natalie's.

Alright, who would you cast as the silk spectre Cinemaphile?
In 2009?
Lynn Collins instead of her being in Wolverine Origins.
Adrianne Palicki
No no no.. Holy shit frick you and your ugly ass waifu with a giant fricking mole on her forehead
Her nude scenes were hot.
I can't remember her from the movie. Zero impact.
She was fine, and hot, and she had camel toe, I approve
