It's funny, I got around to playing Fallout 1 and 2 during covid after putting them off for years. The Brotherhood of Steel plays such a tiny role in Fallout 1 and is basically nonexistent in Fallout 2. Why Bethesda latched onto them so hard is baffling.

I just started 4 this year after playing basically just Vegas, occasionally 3. 4 is actually much better than I thought. Took a while to learn the mechanics, but killed a good hundred hours or so. It’s not that bad. But now that I’ve unlocked basically everything, it doesn’t have much replay value.
Fallout 4 barely passes as a functioning game. It's fricking dogshit m8. Literally the only good things about it are a handful of characters. Nothing else. Don't even tell me the gunplay is good because it really isn't, not then and not now.
The gunplay feels cool when you first start then it just gets worse and worse. Enemies just become stupid in combat. They stand out in the open 4 miles away and bullseye you with a cut down hunting rifle with no sights. And to compensate for high level players they just give them 5,000,000 HP.
And of course the first photo released has to include a black person. Not a white, or latino, or polynesian, or scandinavian, or russian, or indian, or asian, or middle eastern, or european. Nope. Black. Always black.
Blacks in the US are just 12% of the population. Black males ages 15 to 45 are just 3% of the US population, and yet they appear in just about every single thing produced by US entertainment media. Friends I've never played fallout but I'm currently playing fallout 4 for the first time and I'm loving it so far, am I playing the worst game?
I just started 4 this year after playing basically just Vegas, occasionally 3. 4 is actually much better than I thought. Took a while to learn the mechanics, but killed a good hundred hours or so. It’s not that bad. But now that I’ve unlocked basically everything, it doesn’t have much replay value.
The general consensus has always been that Fallout 4 is a good game. It's just not a good Fallout game.
Fallout 4 barely passes as a functioning game. It's fricking dogshit m8. Literally the only good things about it are a handful of characters. Nothing else. Don't even tell me the gunplay is good because it really isn't, not then and not now.
The gunplay feels cool when you first start then it just gets worse and worse. Enemies just become stupid in combat. They stand out in the open 4 miles away and bullseye you with a cut down hunting rifle with no sights. And to compensate for high level players they just give them 5,000,000 HP.
