Oh god what the frick. That might have been acceptable if it was just some Newgrounds fan animation, but I have a hard time believing a professional studio made that.

Okay, so
-what I think I understood is that being a WOOHP agent turned Clover into a thrillseeker, as she was actively bored on the beach and wished that she was on a mission. That came outta' nowhere.
-i remember that smell is supposed to be the sense linked closest to memory. So, apparently, Alex always uses a particular combination of scents for everything she puts on herself, from suntan lotion to I guess the perfume she sprays on when she is on assignment? So this means that smelling thayvparticular combination of scents restored Mandy's supposedly erased memories of being a Spy for one episode. Which means that throughout this season (or possibly from now on, who knows, maybe we will all be dead and Totally Spies will still have new episodes), Mandy will be actively aware of WOOHP and the Spies, and what they do. That's interesting!
-Maybe I missed a latter season episode, but Sam doesn't strike ke as thebkind of girl to play her Switch on the beach. Again, maybe I missed an episode.
Also, when Clover sees the cardboard boxes she think they're home decorations and calls it eco-chic. I need to try that one day and see how many people fall for it.
So she uses that scent all the time? But then Mandy should be familiar with it, she is always b***hy with Clover in particular. I need to rewatch the episode where Mandy becomes a Spy, what about that combination of coco butter, geranium and rose scent made her remember?

you're reading a bit too much into it. The truth is that the people who have worked on/created this show do not give a single shit about consistency, continuity, or sense.
Same was never a gamer, Alex was
Alex was allergic to cats, now shes not and loves animals.
Clover never hated missions but clearly would prefer to just shop and date boys
Then theres the shit with their parents and last names and the pig from the movie and a bunch of other shit. I think an argument could be made for whether any of it matters but still, its not worth nitpicking this show over it when it was never a thing.
>The truth is that the people who have worked on/created this show do not give a single shit about consistency, continuity, or sense.
they did. back then, as well as now. For Pete's sake, the first major plot point of the season is Mandy having a flashback to something that happened previously!
>They drop a clip of the old series
Either that means everyone's conscious of the art style and "art style" will be a dynamic subject in this series, or this is honestly a garage project that got a chance to air. I'm trying to be optimistic here, either way. Since it's French, it's likely going to improve with a bigger S2 budget so hopefully it makes it that far.
Translation on the preview clip?

Right here
Yeah, I'm thinking we're back.
The duality of man
>feet
Not as yummy looking as the OG but I'll take it.

I’m just hoping the budget was saved for the more action-focused scenes.
Is she actually getting her memories back?
What are the odds one of them dabs?
>What are the odds one of them dabs?
Is bingo popular in France?
I don't think they're going to show them using THC concentrates in a kid's show
I'll just watch original cartoon like I do every few years.

My mistake; it's Clover's suntan lotion.

>major plot point
>hey the theme song in not that bad
>that last verse
She should remember more episodes.
She was only a Spy once.
She had her memory wiped a bunch through.
ah yes, jerry and his sassy black woman boss, the staple of totally spies
at least sam survived the typical redhead erasure. i'll probs check it out, at least.
Where's the device that makes Alex grow a wiener so she can frick my ass.
Like in Glory Hole Much
It'll never be bigger than Mandy's all natural wiener.
I'd frick Mandy but I want Alex to frick me.
Mandy is a THOT
Alex is fun and lovable and would cuddle after
I'm not saying you have to have sex with Mandy.
Just that she's bigger.

Reminded me of how jarring it was whenever DBS used DBZ flashback
Bring back Here We Go, you cowards! With lyrics!
