Didio doesn't like Wally and Donna and it's just another book of him taking a massive dump on those two characters.
You think after the success of the justice league animated series and Wally's character and personality being adopted by Barry in all of the newest interpretations that DC will respect him more
DC writers have always been upfront with their sidekick/heir wars. Green Lantern and Robins are another example.
comic companies are rub by people two generations behind.
Once Barry came back and was made lead to all adaptations since, it was over for Wally.
Opposite. Heroes in Crisis was about stupidly shilling therapy (which is a useless practice made to scam the mentally ill).
Wally's "resolution" was that he murdered because he "didn't accept the video therapy until it was too late" and that by sending his video he can warn people to get (pay thousands for) therapy before they end up killing someone.
As if that would save even a single person.
>Therapy is le bad
Did you even read the book? For all its problems that was never the message.
Therapy is literally just venting. Venting can only do so much, especially if your issues are actually pretty serious. To fix your shit, you have to actually put in the work to better yourself and in turn, your life. Words are cheap, and actions speak louder than words. Problem is, that a lot of these people are too lazy to actually take matters into their own hands and would rather b***h about how hard they have it. But others will take action and eventually get better.
Therapy is what you put into it and should include suggestions and outlets to better yourself. The issue is good therapists are rare, and the vast majority are scared of lawsuits. Also doesn't help that a lot of people in therapy are looking to be validated and thus don't want to hear how going for a walk 1 hour a day or how leaving a friend group that enables your destructive behavior is a good start. They want you to buy into the idea that they're not the issue, it's everyone around them.
Were didio and johns really at odds with the direction post rebirth dc was heading for as some fans speculate
It sure feels that way
Keep in mind that after Johns was pushed out of the DCEU role in 2017 then the deluge of really bad DC projects came in
Didio was to blame in a way, and they were clearly at odds, but the bigger issue was AT&T/WB. They pushed for 5G because they wanted to use it as a jumping off point to revitalizes animation and television. DiDio was all in on their vision of an all knew DC landscape with new diverse heroes in every major mantle. Wally was an obstacle for 5G because Flash was probably going to be Avery or Ace so it made sense that Heroes in Crisis was going to remove him from play. Every bad choice DC made in that post-Rebirth Pre-Dark Crisis era was a result of 5G.
>First Wally covering shit up in the event was retconned to be Zoom having implanted hypnotic suggestions in him to do it
>Then Wally was revealed to be completely innocent and framed as Savitar was retconned into being the one behind the murders
>Finally the heroes that Savitar had murdered in the event were revealed to be alive and living in Timepoint
Has there ever been an event that has managed to get retconned this heavily in order to fully unJUST a character
The story was horrible but the art was kinda nice
>soulless stiff copypasted art
yeah, no
I'm talking about her ass dude jeez
SHUT THE FRICK UP
I feel like Babs moved past all this shit as Oracle but now that she can fricking walk again it's her defining character trait.
Sounds like you weren't reading BoP and the Batbooks when Babs was Oracle. If it wasn't man drama it was chair drama.
I don't really remember it coming up anywhere near as much as it does now.
