The UK office is a masterpiece, and of course the XFM podcasts/RGS show were a revelation. I'm guessing Steve and/or Karl did all the heavy lifting and Ricky was just there to provoke them, laugh at stuff and rub Karl's head.
Yes, he's a comedy genius to get a laugh out of that room full of millionaire/billionaire movie stars who take two minutes to go "ha ha boy you sure got our number, Briddish man!" before snorting fifteen countries' GDP in cocaine and killing a homeless person.
The office uk is hilarious, his stand up is quite bad and goes for the easy low hanging fruit too often.
Gervais defenders get the rope, always claiming stuff written by Based Merchant as a proof that Ricky is funny. Notice how you never mention the abomination that is Derek which is what he shits out when he doesn’t have Stephen to carry him
right I tried Derek recently and it's really not funny and is just thoroughly tasteless
Merchant did the writing. Gervais brought out the David Brent character well because that's nearly who he is anyway
XFM all three of them work together as comedic trio, I will give Gervais that, the radio show wouldn't work with any two of them separately though the occasional episode with Claire were funny but they were still riding off of Karl in one way or another
was genuinely a good point that made me think
especially underground gay culture of the '70s/'80s gays were hanging around sketchy places at odd hours it's really no wonder they were getting hate crime'd. Me doing the same at that point and time as a heterosexual I'd have probably been the victim of violent crime too
Ricky is just the Stavros Halkias of english comedy. Made it big by literally just cackling with laughter at what Stephen and Karl were saying to each other on the radio
>There's this bloke, right, on some cartoon website for kids. He deletes posts for free. No money whatsoever. That's pretty mental. >HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA HE'S DONE YOU AGAIN
was annoying me a bit starting around S2 of the XFM series I think Gervais clocked that Karl was genuinely a lot more funny than he was and kept making comments like >ooooooh if only we can get Karl on TV. Is channel 4 listening?
obviously in mind that he'd be a producer
He's a fricking moron too. Acts like he knows so much about nature and philosophy. Listening back to the old XFM shows and podcasts, Karl is actually a much more creative thinker than both Ricky and Steve, who just repeat shit they heard in school. And Ricky gets alot of shit wrong too, like claiming primates don't have opposable thumbs, what a fricking moron.
It has become embarrassingly clear over the years that while Steve and Karl were hamming up their personalities for comedic value for the XFM show, Ricky was just being himself.
I like how he's so unfunny and bitter that it doesn't even matter to Cinemaphile that he's a troony hater, he just sucks so bad at telling jokes
I was so shocked at his crude jokes my mouth was agape.
Doesn't he realise what he is saying??!
Never was.

Incorrect. Extras, the office, life's too short, XFM, podcasts and the only man that can host an award show and make people laugh.
Yes, he's a comedy genius to get a laugh out of that room full of millionaire/billionaire movie stars who take two minutes to go "ha ha boy you sure got our number, Briddish man!" before snorting fifteen countries' GDP in cocaine and killing a homeless person.
These days our millibillis are refusing to kill the homeless at their awards shows, which in my opinion is part of the problem.

That gangly c**t stephen merchant isnt funny either.
alright calm down here he comes having a go

he used to be. now he’s just the modern carlin
>I promised my wife I wouldn't do the voice
>does the voice anyway
absolute madlad
Every one of his golden globes performances was genius.
He is probably the single funniest man alive
The office uk is hilarious, his stand up is quite bad and goes for the easy low hanging fruit too often.
He's classic midwit that's forever trying to make himself look smart. Once you notice that you won't be able to stand him.
Some of his punchlines are weak but then he compensates with the most hilarious shit
He was not funny here ??
Weak observations, poorly performed.
Lol people fell for his choreographed Oscars act hook line and sinker. Thanks for the ratings boost, goyim.
Georgie boy was gay I guess
nothing more and nothing less
the kindest guy, I ever knew
not many gays in scotland and he's seen new york on the tele with loads of gays and that and he thought that's alright
'e would 'ave been fine if they didn't go out so late
was genuinely a good point that made me think

By the time your going to bed they're still ironing their jeans!

Yes the man who starred in an acclaimed BBC sitcom made his name on a tinpot local radio station.
liked his sitcoms hate his stand up
His over the top fake laughter detracts from anything he says that is funny.
>There's this bloke, right, on some cartoon website for kids. He deletes posts for free. No money whatsoever. That's pretty mental.
>HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA HE'S DONE YOU AGAIN
>he thinks he's funny
He got absolutely mogged by Louis CK, Seinfeld and Chris Rock in that HBO thing
Every single professional comedian is inferior to Karl.

The Gremlins bit will never not be funny to me. Ricky really showed himself up.
He was brilliant in The Office as Brent. After Life is pretty gay. He should have by now done a show going on a road trip with Karl.
Bullying is not funny
It has become embarrassingly clear over the years that while Steve and Karl were hamming up their personalities for comedic value for the XFM show, Ricky was just being himself.
>*whistles*
>I'm sitting on a wiener cause I'm gay
Has anything made Richie seethe more?
