C'mon you queffs
Unfunny and autistic
Thats not a question you filthy israelite! Comedy!
I like how he was surprised saying holocaust jokes were okay for him to do. Like you're a fricking israelite man.
I'm not israeli at all actually
Normand is a wop
all comedians standup is fricking awful.
I've laughed at an actual standup special maybe four times in my entire life.
Comedians really shine when they can be themselves which only happens on their podcast.
Mark Normands comedy is terrible, he is hilarious on podcasts because hes a genuinely funny person.
This goes for most male comics.
There has never been a funny female comic.
are you me?
yes.
>he is hilarious on podcasts because hes a genuinely funny person.
He is one of the fakest people on the planet and nobody really knows how he is in real life according to his comedian friends. Also extremely greedy and does all of this only because of the money.
Amy Schumer infused him with nepotism super powers, so none of this matters.
>im basing my entire opinion of this guy I've never met, on what other people I've never met have told me.
uhhh, ok man.
Cool I don't care
That makes it even funnier though. Like how Gilbert Gottfried never dropped the act in public
No he isn't. Listen to his appearance on Fitzdog radio talking about all his fricked up adolescent sexual experiences. Or his appearance on Blocks with Neal Brennan. He's extremely open and honest
Listen to him on Tuesdays where he said that he meticulously prepared his stories for his first Joe Rogan podcast. He's autistic about his preparation for podcasts that he cares about. He then repeats those stories endlessly on every other podcast. His old prostitute was just an old lady and old guy at first, she morphed into a hooker and a pimp later for some reason. She also got older after as well. His dad and mom were never physical at first, now one or both beat him up. At some point it's not clear if any of his childhood stories are true.
You're a fricking humourless moron then.
nah I just don't find massively rehearsed speeches funny.
rarely is any comedy special funny enough to make me laugh because almost every comedy special has to be tame and have mas appeal.
I don't find normie shit funny. Dry humor is what gets me going and that is very very rarely ever actually dark in a standup special because its hosted by a network that needs ratings and in the past there have been threats of FCC intervention.
If you like normie basic humor than that's fine, just not for me.
I like podcasts where people can say pretty much whatever the frick they want.
>Dry humor is what gets me going
That is objectively a bad sense of humor, lmao
I had no idea you were the sole body of governance that determines what is funny.
Let us know that next time so I can just call you an egotistical homosexual right off the bat and we can just avoid any interaction altogether
Same for you moron. You don't determine what's funny and yet you talk about it like only you're right. This is why we can't have nice things. Trannies like you always have to act smug about shit. inb4 troon rage
I was talking about it from my perspective.
Nowhere did I say only my way of thinking is correct.
However you DID say that, you fricking moron.
I voiced nothing but subjective opinions based on my own personal beliefs and you told me I was wrong lol.
how are you this moronic?
I haven't watched a stand up on a network in my life. Before streaming, I used to watch them on YouTube or Pandora or just pirate them. You can't seriously say that even Netflix censors stand up, unless the comedian gets cancelled like Louis.
Netflix is very choosy about who does their specials. New comics look at it as a chance to get a bigger audience and they RARELY make it too risqué for fear of alienation. Almost every single comedian that's gotten a netflix special that wasnt already a massively established comedian has talked about this.
Not that they censored their own material heavily but if you know the comedian before their netflix special, the netflix special is usually much different than their original content.
If you are an established comedian netflix doesn't really care what you say because you're going to bring in lots of viewers. The most "controversial" on their platform was Chappelle and probably D'elia after his scandal. There aren't many other controversial comedians on there besides maybe Rogan.
HBO didn't really give a frick for the same reason Netflix kind of doesn't. Revenue, subscriptions, etc.
Comedy Central absolutely there was off topic content as well as YouTube.
Anyways, my point im trying to make is very rarely are the people on stage in specials genuine. Someone sat down for months writing out content, spending a year honing it. It's just a speech. Watching a podcast is generally really who that person is and is usually much funnier off the cuff, which is what I find funny.
I don't find years of rehearsal saying the same shit over and over to thousands of crowds genuine. When a comedian laughs on stage while explaining their humorous story, its literally part of the act. That joke isn't funny to them after the 9,000th time they've told it.
It just feels fake to me.
>444
Not a bad guy for israelite
Went to see Ricky Gervais new show live a few months back that is going to become a netflix special. A couple of times before he went into some really edgy jokes he said something along the lines of "eh frick it, netflix is going to cut it anyways so I might as well". I imagine the same goes for most other comedians, which is why I prefer to see them live instead of waiting for the censored netflix version
>rehearsed speeches
this is the best way I've ever heard this put. stand-up is so phony.
He rehearses a lot of his stories that he tells on his podcasts. Mark isn't really spontaneous. Unless you mean all his horrible puns.
What evidence do you have to support that claim?
I like Mark Normand but I'm not a huge fan, had no idea he was as hated as everyone in this thread says.
Everyone keeps saying "oh he does this" or "oh he does that". Literally how do you know?
I'm guessing you don't and just don't like him.
He said so himself. I guess you want to be spoonfed. Go to reddit for that.
The most npc take there is
Why is your cadence is weird
I bet you gays think its wild a successful celebrity like myself would browse Cinemaphile. Guess what even winners browse this trash, Comedy!
Comedy goddammmmitttttt!!!!!!!!!! Ask me something you Black folk!
Comedy?!?!?????!??!??!??
How many comedians are actually from money but create a fake persona and background because of much everyone loves the old "starving road hack with nothing" lame to fame chestnut? I'm betting there's guys out there that have gone as far as legally changing their name.
I doubt many come from money. I'd bet some were middle class but I highly doubt successful comedians came from money.
The best comedians come from having an absolutely fricked up adolescence. Not that you can't have problems if you're wealthy, but none the majority of those problems rarely make you a sturdier, tough person.
Literally every comedian today came from money, dipshit. You can't afford to perform stand-up at dive bars in California making $200 a weekend without your wealthy israeli director uncle lending a hand (or a mouth)
Most of the JRE crew are from money or have special connections that they never mentioned.
Like Tom Segura has a cousin who is a successful documentary guy who has won Emmys.
Christina P grew up as like best friends with Roseanne's daughter.
You often find out they were pretty wealthy growing up, and their lowest point is earning more than 90 percent of Americans still.
Mark pretends that he was poor, because both of his lawyer parents are just bad with money according to him anyway.
His mom is so bad with money that she owns a museum now, his brother had multiple computers and they paid for his brother's college education etc. He was extremely poor.
Is standup a dead art form?
Who the frick are you?
why does he use fake voice?
I’ve never seen this guy genuinely laugh at anything. He does a very obvious fake/polite laugh when someone says something that’s meant to be funny. It’s unnerving.
Mark is good, but for me it's Matt Rife
Industry plant. Also a date rapist.
>t. comedy booker
Girl or gay? Girls go insane for this kid so I’ll probably never check him out.
neither i'm just a shitposter
>samegayging
yikes
Redbars watching
He's actually not very good. I swear he was better. His boy Sam Morril is much more polished. On their podcast when they need help with bits Mark gives shit to no advice while Sam comes up with good ideas on the spot. I don't watch their podcast anymore because there's always a guest. Show is better when it's just them two. Quitting drinking a few months ago probably gave me some clarity.
Sam Morrill has an even worse fake laugh
>so a chicken crossed the road
>sam:that's a horrific joke
>Dave Attel said it by the way
>sam: HA HA HA HA HA!
I might be forgiving with him because he reminds me of a good friend of mine
Hey hey folks Tuesdays with stories is brought to you by manscaped...If you don't wanna be a punk you better shave your junk, the high quality design of the trimmers make sure you'll look good under the hood. Ok back to the show. I'm gay!
You gays will argue about anything. I think stand up can be a great, hilarious artform or really cringey. Mark seems kind of stiff on stage and robotic abit, which he admits, but he tells so many jokes in one set its impressive. His 2 pods are my favorite, especially Tuesdays. Sometimes we might be drunk can suck abit if there's a guest and they don't know them so they just kind of kiss their ass and only talk shop about stand-up the whole time, but usually its really entertaining. Its getting borderline weird how much I like Mark though although like anybody they can only have so much to say it gets repetitive.
Hey guys, Joe Rogan and Brendan Schaub have huge penises (I like to say hogs) and are hilarious. One of the best comedians ever? Bert Kreischer
Signed Mark Normand
>I like to say hogs
Damn, Normand is one of these?
He might've said that on accident. He insists that on accident is correct, because of "on purpose". List stopped correcting him.
Might be Mark's schizo meds that he buys from his drug dealer.
TOTAL STANDUP PODCASTER DEATH IM SICK OF THIS SHIT IT ISNT FUNNY OR COOL OR INTERESTING KYS
american stand up is dire
Queff it up ya chooch
