I hope so. Making Hilda, David and Frida show romantic feelings for each other would break their dynamic and unbalance their relationship.
Johanna dating somebody (or even reuniting with Hilda's dad) would be interesting, however.

David needs to dick down the Marra. If I'm not mistaken it's even in the legends that a way to defeat the Marra is by tying it down with the belt and then marrying it. Johanna can also date someone. But nothing else.
