Marvel's whole attitude towards that kind of thing is weirdly inconsistent. In Captain America, we get a very vague nod to bias against Japanese (and German) Americans, but nothing really diving in to how prevalent segregation and racism was in the mid-century US.
But then Black Panther was super in-your-face about racial prejudice. Shang-Chi was more-or-less politically neutral, maybe the spiciest part being it lightly alluding to relations between first generation immigrants and people who's families have been in the West for a while, but it isn't really a theme of the story. Spider-Man had some pretty direct comments on class conflict, and of course the Iron Man movies were explicitly about the Military Industrial Complex.
I dunno, I guess they seem to inject real social issues as they see fit, and ignore them when they want the story to be focused elsewhere.

MCU cannot help themselves. They have the ingredients for a decent project: plot, characters, actors, writing ... and they find a way to frick it up every time. The plotline to this series is already canon, and they have Loki. All they need to do is find competent actors and not resort to mind-bogglingly stupid cuteness gimmicks. As Nebula might say, "all they have to do is not fall out".
So they bring in Majors who is just awful. Unwatchable. Then they have Miss Jar Jar Minutes. OB isn't much better but the series could survive him and Sophie and Ravonna and a lot of other shit, but the pile of crap is so high that it cannot be saved.
Season 1 was perfect though. I'm not sure how they fricked up Season 2 so bad, I'm rewatching Season 1 again and it's just so insanely different.
