America likes to smokescreen our current slave labor migrant work force by focusing on the past version and how great it is that we don’t do it anymore. If you acknowledge that Hispanics get the shaft you’d have to start acknowledging where our food comes from.

He's the guy she tells you not to worry about. You're not supposed to take him at face value in like half the scenes he's in

Why is everyone a Black person in this movie?

He was no character, only a plot device, i mean with his views and comments why did they even make him a spiderman? Another detail that makes the whole spider society look stupid

    >I don't believe in labels, they're used to judge me
    >reduces absolutely everything he comes across to some vague ideological label he then judges
Punks/anarchists are just hypocritical buttholes. And yes the irony of my statement is part of the statement itself

The fact that only a handful of hundreds of spider men defy Miguel is moronic by itself. They should've actually made Miguel's group an elite task force but they had to have the epic chase scenes with tons of spider people running around

Genuinely one of the ugliest animated characters I've ever seen.

He looks genuinely so ugly i despise how this animated Spider-Man movie which shows them expressing emotions through their masks still had the need to show their ugly fricking faces 60% of the time

It’d be moronic to make a punk handsome.

I like him. He's obviously full of shit but he's at least acknowledged as such. The stuff he says outside of being anti-Spider-Fascist sounds like a joke, which I guess is meant to conceal the validity of his anti-Spider-Fascism. Broken clock and all that.

So what do think Miguel is doing when he injects himself with that stuff in his lair. Is he giving himself a booster shot off his powers or are his powers a techno organic thing that needs a recharge

Odds are it's some altered version of Rapture that temporarily gives him a more human look. He did it specifically when he was about to give another spider the rundown on canon and what has to happen to preserve it, so it's probably a regular thing for him.
If you watch the scene again, you can see him go still when he's trying to keep it together and he only emotes once it wears off and he's chasing down the buck.

the main problem i had with him is the same problem I had with EVERY spiderman (why the frick are they even doing the council thing?) but at least he fricked off appropriately.

Any "cool" character that needs another character to call them "cool" to confirm to the audience that they are in fact "cool" isn't actually cool.

checked. Was wondering if there's a term for that. "Show, don't tell" maybe?

      Other notable examples
      >MCU Captain Marvel
      >That lesbo barbarian warrior from Ant-Man 3

spider punk was unironically very based.
But i couldnt understand a GOD DAMN thing he was saying.
Also british "punk" is a moronic life style.

He was so based, being a pest to everyone around him for no reason and saying shit about playing music to fight fascism. I think that's what he said anyway. Cause you can't have a Black person talk like a normal person. And by Black person I mean Black person. Not just dark skinned.
