Anyone who's played an MMO knows this feeling. One day you wake up and realise you're just wasting your time on something that's become a chore with benefit.
Playing Wow in the 2000's was the peak of online gaming. Glad i got to do that because it was Sovl and it was easy to quit gaming after because nothing ever came close to staying up world pvping with your friends shooting the shit in vent.
The peak of online gaming is whenever you had engaging online friends, less responsibility, and no burnout. For me that was Minecraft and LoL shooting the shit on Skype with friends, for my little brother it was Garry’s mod and dark souls shooting the shit on discord.
The peak of gaming is based on you, not games. Kids will always enjoy video games no matter what and adults should get bored of them (at least playing excessively.)
The moral of the story is that all the main characters should have moved off an island with 50 people.
Colm could have been in a big city with more musicians
Padraic could have been in a big city with more drinking budies to pal around with
Dominic would have had more dating prospects
Siobhan actually had a clue.
>The moral of the story is that all the main characters should have moved off an island with 50 people.
To Ireland proper, beset by troubles with England? To the continent, recapitulating that with what became WW2? The Antichrist is present in the world and Colm abjuring the saints and Jesus with his "people remember music" line is the throughline. Things are getting worse before they get even more abominable, that is the 'moral', and people's lack of faith in part assents to it.
Boring parochial bullshit is the bread and butter of Irish culture, imagine an entire internet and social media dedicated to indulging in shite like "the immersion hurr hurr right lads?" I'm Irish too
The thing is, modern Irish-Americans are a better representation of real Irish people than those who currently inhabit Ireland today. So technically speaking, Irish-American actors / accents would better suit this film.
>modern Irish-Americans are a better representation of real Irish people than those who currently inhabit Ireland today
t. Irish american who has drank too much and become extremely moronic
He was a c**t who thought himself better than others and who grow resentful of the relationship he had with Colin's character on a tiny isolated island
Sometimes a man just realizes that some people are a complete waste of time.
Sometimes he realizes it way to late.

Makes Irish look parochial + boring
Boring parochial bullshit is the bread and butter of Irish culture, imagine an entire internet and social media dedicated to indulging in shite like "the immersion hurr hurr right lads?" I'm Irish too
Ireland always looks like a dreary depressing country.
What? You don't like Irish Christmas songs like 'It's Dark and Raining Again'?
None of them did irish accents properly.
The actors didn’t have Irish accents…?
None of them are from the west
For fricks safe...four of them are actually Irish in real life.
The thing is, modern Irish-Americans are a better representation of real Irish people than those who currently inhabit Ireland today. So technically speaking, Irish-American actors / accents would better suit this film.

0/10

As someone called Colm I'm glad they finally made a movie about literally me
still less moronic than people who will watch literally anything. you deserve shit movies.
The problem with Ireland is that it's full of the Irish.
You're plagarising Long Dong Shanks.
>t. hbomberguy
Seriously, what the frick was wrong with him
He was a c**t who thought himself better than others and who grow resentful of the relationship he had with Colin's character on a tiny isolated island
Colm was in the wrong
