Yea, the ending was fricking moronic. I guess the rest of the movie was too based so they just had to kill off the “villains” because being racist is le bad. IMO realistically Gary would’ve at least checked her for any sort of weapon or straight up kill her the moment he finds out she’s a fed.

his entire character is nullified. the kind of person Derek is shown to be would never just dust off his hands and abandon the cause because something bad happened to him personally. if anything he would just hate nazi poser homosexuals even more
