Yeah, the main problem is that it takes a lot of time before things finally start happening and in the middle of all that, you only get some pieces of the puzzle every episode, but at the same time, not all events are fully explained, some are just voiceovers and quick flashbacks, expecting you to catch up and move on just as fast. I just watched it because someone on one of these threads recommended it a lot but it wasn't good
Didn't read any of that but yeah what bothered me was that the girls still got off lightly. They were in their 40s by the time the MC got her revenge so their lives were pretty much over anyway.

not really, kdrama's biggest strength/weakness is they tend to be just one season, they don't really get the chance to get as in depth with the characters as you might want but they don't overstay their welcome. the other problem they have is that it's very rare for them to pull off a satisfying ending. kdrama tends to get over-hyped because people are only watching the best shit that comes out, it's like judging all american drama's by breaking bad or sopranos and ignoring the amount of crap that's produced along side them.

Yeah, the main problem is that it takes a lot of time before things finally start happening and in the middle of all that, you only get some pieces of the puzzle every episode, but at the same time, not all events are fully explained, some are just voiceovers and quick flashbacks, expecting you to catch up and move on just as fast. I just watched it because someone on one of these threads recommended it a lot but it wasn't good

not really, kdrama's biggest strength/weakness is they tend to be just one season, they don't really get the chance to get as in depth with the characters as you might want but they don't overstay their welcome. the other problem they have is that it's very rare for them to pull off a satisfying ending. kdrama tends to get over-hyped because people are only watching the best shit that comes out, it's like judging all american drama's by breaking bad or sopranos and ignoring the amount of crap that's produced along side them.
