I used to hit them with the scoutball that would stun them for a while, it was so fun, not sure why tf2 had to nerf everything on scout. Anyways I mostly played koth_sawmill, fly up to the snipers with pyro's jetpack and burn them 3 at a time and then lockdown that position for the rest of the game. 99% Of snipers are bad at the game.

Last time I played the game was filled with cheatbots who would join 6 at a time so you couldn't votekick them so maybe you're right.
The same reason they nerfed everything on TF2, the childish Comp players complained.
Hmm I guess I could see it with the sandman but did comp players really complain about bonk? I thought you could only use the stock weapons in comp anyways, could be wrong, never was good enough for ocmp even though I put 1000s of hours into that game.

Okay, there is definitely a counter to the sniper (the spy). But I dare you to find a class that can actually effectively counter the pyro.
