Rambo trilogy is pure kino, Rambo 4 is kino, Rambo 5 is a pretty good flick. Sky can't be beaten. I heard he's writing again. A new movie for Jason Statham.

The only good Rambo film was First Blood, all the rest were fricking ridiculous. His last good film was Copland.
They were more heightened action but that doesn't make them bad. The production value was superb in both 2 and 3. First Blood is a classic film and 10/10 but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

This movie had so many good one-liners, it was the epitome of an '80s action movie.

The script was originally Beverly Hills Cop, but the studio rejected and Sly left the project. Eventually it would become Cobra.
I'm kinda glad they rejected it, now we have Eddie Murphy's kino performance in Beverly Hills Cop and Sly's in Cobra.

Arnie did Twins, Junior and Jingle all the way, so it's not like he wasn't afraid to do something light hearted either. Not sure why he made fun of sly for this tbh.
It's nowhere near Rambo. Sanitized 80s schlockfest. It confirmed George P. Cosmatos as a fricking hack to me. (Tombstone was credit only apparently) There's funny shit in the script though and Sly is playing Sly as always so it's watchable.
