Brie Larson is the worst name for these roles, she doesn't know like to play, she doesn't like to get dirty, she doesn't like the costume and body of the character from the comics, they took the worst name on the list and thought that the Oscars were going to give some credibility as if the audience cared about that
Feige's blind vision has destroyed the MCU and all Carol Danvers' potential many have been saying this for years and only now are people seeing it

Iron Man has never been "a literally who", stop with this moronic meme. Even prior to his movie he had A-list abilities, A-list pull in the MU, been on A-list teams, featured in many series outside of his own and that includes crossovers and main events, and has had animated series early on. The general audience have always at least been aware of him and Cap even if they knew little about them.
Negative. I'm an old school iron man fan and he's always been b tier at best. The only reason he was well known and generally well regarded is his time as a core member of the avengers ensemble. He's a deeply flawed and troubled character, they worked this in to IM 1&2 but did a 180 with 3 after the Disney purchase.
They then did another 180 after that again with civil war lol, and then another 180 for Endgame.

Yes they did moron. People have always been aware, in America, of Captian America. He's always had a spot in the cultural landscape since WW2. He may not have been overwhelmingly popular across the entirety of American history since then but the average member of the American public was definitely aware of his existence. A new Captain America movie absolutely got attention.
Noone normal knows who the frick Captain Marvel is and they don't give a shit. She wasn't some propaganda character from the 1940s people used to give a shit about or have a soft spot for. Actually they should have used Hank and Janet (young) instead of Hawkeye and Black Widow. That would have been more historically accurate to the comics and would have provided more power variety to the team. Betweem Hawkeye, Widow and Cap, half the team was basically just badass soldiers.

You can't waste Captain freaking Marvel on some lousy chitauri, come on now. The movie had to set the Hulk and Thor as the Avengers powerhouses and she would have totally stolen their thunder, had she been there too. No pun intended. Why do you think she got less than 10 minutes of screentime in Endgame?
