As much as I hate modern movie making and you may hate these guys for being rich insider buttholes, you've gotta hand it to Tom Cruise, Nolan, and Tarantino for attempting to preserve the moviegoing experience. Tom the least since there is some shit CG in his movies but he definitely cares about real stunts with real stakes. Anyway I think Oppenheimer is worth a theatrical watch to see what Nolan pulled off practically.
Oppenheimer style and Mission Impossible should be good. Barbie is some Kangaroo Jack-levels of misleading marketing and the actual premise of the film(Literally fighting the patriarchy) sounds like dogshit.
I'm going to see Mission Impossible with my mom on Saturday (something rekindled in her after Maverick.....) and Oppenheimer on 70mm on Sunday. Gonna be a kino weekend.
