Meh, here's the problem with that going off this
Usually the Predator movie works because by the time our heroes take him down, it's after they've learned they can't take it directly.
I think it'd be best if the main samurai is our strawman protag and our hero is some Okinawa shinobi.
If anything I'd say the movie would work well on taking shots at "honor codes". Because even Prey, despite that Yautja being confirmed the most feral one we've seen, only failed to kill her based on it's old honor code, and in a society where the code was basically "throw yourself at this guy and die so we can figure out a weakness", then it would be interesting to see the Yautja up against that.
But you also have the issue that the Predator is here to make your favorite types of badasses look significantly less badass as it casually slaughters them.
People who liked that scene would be pissed because it would just be a bunch of scenes of all your favorite ninja weapons failing to do jackshit
