mancheater by the sea
phantom of the paradise
Are you the anon that posted this? Both those movies are great
Last Night at Terrace Lanes
It was significantly better than I thought it would be
Is the torrent out already?
Willy's Wonderland but instead of Nicolas Cage it has a ginger and a mutt. not watching this shit
whats wrong with their faces
Started watching.
Skipped the first 20m or so because I legit do not care about a bunch of filler dialogue, at least the kills have started already.
holy kino
naem?
Primal Rage
Bigfoot kino with pretty good kills & effects.
Also, what's some horror with kills like this besides Hatchet
What’s better? The 2018 version that you’ve been posting or the 1988 one?
I haven't watched the original yet, but felt the remake was somewhat bland, barely anyone is actually killed by the elevator.
Evevator? Isn’t it bigfoot
Oh, I meant the Lift movie.
For the bigfoot movie, I don't really know because there's 10+ of them so I have no idea what this 1988 ver. is.
Primal Rage which is the webms I posted is decent though.
is this like a killer bigfoot movie or something?
Yes.
Wow beautiful
none because horror movies are gay
It's a short, but its seriously something I would not recommend for the average horror fan.
None because I'm not a 17 year old trying to get to second base with a girl and I'm not a degenerate
What if you were a 35 year old trying to get to second base with a girl? and where do you find girls?
I didn't say I was better than those things, just that I wasn't those things
I was asking, not accusing you of anything
I’m 43 and my coworker and lifelong friend’s daughter is 22 and she showed up at my door saying she got into a fight with her parents and wanted to stay at my place and I’ve known her since her birth so I said OK. We watched The Killing Of A Sacred Deer while sipping on a few vodka tonics and at the end when he’s spinning around with the gun she cuddled up to me on the couch. Blah blah blah she sucked my dick and swallowed and now I’m extremely uncomfortable talking to my friend Doug.
The Blob (1988)
But anon, you actually watched that around 20 years ago
so fricking badass
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15658626/
Here for Blood. It's not bad.
Just finished Dead & Breakfast.
Cabin Fever
The body horror is great but the movie has not aged well otherwise, I'm surprised Eli Roth hasn't been canceled yet
>what's that gun for
>that one's for Black folk
End credits
>homies stop by and pick up their rifle from the shopkeeper
True peaceful race relations
>I'm surprised Eli Roth hasn't been canceled yet
Making disgusting gory horror movies probably helped, less sensitive people are gonna watch his movies and get offended by the jokes.
I watched Get Out a few days ago
It was pretty good, but I wouldn't really say it was a horror movie in the typical sense
The Brain [was ok, liked the vore scenes]
Life of Belle [way too attention detailed. You need to be 130+ IQ to figure this one out]
Gods of the Deep [was too predictable, quit watching halfway through]
Stopmotion [made me hungry for hamburgers]
RICH PEOPLE BAD
Neveau Riche.
This movie only hated on new money The globalist aristocracy was not being murdered.
I watched the menu the other day and enjoyed it immensely. if you’ve never been a wagie, you won’t get it, and that’s ok because it wasn’t meant for you, Daddy Warbucks’ precious little boy.
Nothing I watch can be considered horror because no fiction is frightening when you live in clown world.
I watch horror to escape the clown world and to have fun time, dum dum.
>clown world
It has always been a "clown world". You think people lived in utopias in the past?
It was some solid alien kino, I liked it
I watched picnic at hanging rock cause you guys keep talking about it. It was ok. The visuals were unreal
Me too. And i agree with everything you said.
I just listen to normies
I watched THE BAY and As Above So Below. Neither were great, AASB was better
Watched The Omen (1976)
Some parts were kino, like the Italian graveyard, but I was mostly underwhelmed.
it's more comedy than horror but Destroy All Neighbors was a good time. Helps to be into the idea of being into prog-rock, not sure if true progheads would find it funny.
Talk to Me
Ok movie but not scary.
Is it really just possession?
I find that boring.
Just my everyday life
Midsommar
I like having a bad memory because I can rewatch movies almost like they're new several years later
Hopefully that doesn't mean early dementia
I was finally able to watch The Last Voyage of the Demeter after getting a free month of Paramount Plus.
非洲和尚 ("Crazy Safari," or "The Gods Must be Crazy 3" for gwailos). True kino for the discerning cinéphile. Not suitiable for western sinophobes crybabies.
?si=20eqPZkI8g7RQ-O9
Is it good? I have this on my Mr. vampire list.
I am a moron and didn't see the kino comment, ignore.
couple of rekt webms, that's about it
>Enough from the clown!
Little Shop of Horrors (1986). It was kino.
Were you the anon who wanted to watch it but was afraid because you didn't like musicals at all?
I posted in /hor/ about watching it but I don't know if I mentioned disliking musicals. It might've been me.
I thought I disliked musicals for a while until I rewatched The Wizard of Oz and realized that I was just assuming I didn't like them.
Do the Jaws movies count? I rewatched all four of them and replayed the PS2 game. Very fun
That ps2 game was great. Way better than that Maneater game that came out a while back.
>Way better than Maneater
Agreed, although I’ve only played about an hour of that game. Felt too arcadey and not as fun to kill people
How would you be disappointed? First one is almost a perfect movie
I like in Jaws PS2 you could wiggle the right joy stick and you make the shark shakes it head to tear limbs and heads off.
Can't do that in maneater!
Exactly, it felt more personal killing people. You could even target specific body parts or throw them a hundred feet out of the water into rocks to kill them lol
>Do the Jaws movies count?
Of course.
I don’t think I will ever watch any jaws movie. It’ll just be a disappointment
I watched some old erotic Asian horror movie about a woman with a detachable head on archive. I don't know the name because it was all in moon runes. Good fap sesh though. Hairy Asian girls are my kryptonite.
Very strange movie. Has a dreamlike aura to it.
The Lift (1983). Such a ridiculous film.
Amusingly enough it got an american remake also by the same director with Naomi Watts.
In which she threatens to lie and say the security guard raped her if he doesn't let her in the building, it truly was a different time.
Nefarious. It was just ok but it was short and sweet so I still enjoyed it
Is Thanksgiving any good?
Yes, although the kills are a bit fantastical in natural despite being gory, as in exaggerated.
Good kills/gore. Shit everything else
Yeah, one of the better horror movies of the past few years.
The intro is kino.
Been meaning to watch this since seeing a preview of it before the FNAF movie
Definitely worth checking out if you like slashers.
Last horror movie I watched was Conjuring 3 on release, it was shit.
No James Wan, no me watch
It had a few good parts.
Suitable Flesh, The Hitcher, and two episodes of Into The Dark which are each like an hour+ long.
The only one I can really recommend is The Hitcher.
I was sick so I caught up on a few
>Prometheus
>Speak No Evil
>A Dark Song
Doesn't feel like horror even though it's in the horror category. Not original idea but probably the first time it's been done in a horror movie. The male mc's acting is off putting. It doesn't feel like he's actually acting but playing himself.
I hated this movie
The morality of the characters are questionable. They didn't even bother to try to warn townspeople about the danger of the alien, choosing instead to keep it a secret and profit off of it. The brother and sister got ridiculous plot armor. Made no sense that the creature didn't eat them simply because they didn't look at it even though the creature had no visible eyes. The movie compares that behavior with a horse being frightened, which made zero sense.
None of peeles dogshit feels like horror, because it isn't. That's why normies think it's great. It's like thinking starwars is good scifi or space opera.
Dread, it was decent. It wasn't kino but it was interesting enough. I got some lovecraft vibes from the psycho.
Yep the rotting steak, I didn't even expect the ending.
What kind of man watches horror films?
Based ones. Zoomers won't get it.
Masque of the red death
I'm straight. I don't watch that shit.
I watched Todd Haynes Safe expecting a horror movie but I'm afraid I was fooled.
I’ve been meaning to rewatch that recently. great cast and it’s been at least a decade
I’m about the watch The Collector for the first time.
The 2009 one? Really fun movie, enjoy.
Yes the 2009 one. Not sure how this one slipped under my radar
It's a movie that's had its cult status grow a lot over time.
I watched Maniac by Dwain Esper tonight, crazy pre-Hays code film kino
I feel like I can hardly keep up with new movies anymore since I don’t get advertised to very often anymore. What upcoming horror movies are most horror fans looking forward to? Terrifier 3 is the only one I can think of off the top of my head
Terrifier 3 and Late Night with the Devil. Also hoping M3gan 2.0 is good because I enjoyed M3gan and the director's previous movie Housebound, hope he continues doing movies because there was a huge gap in between those two.
Sweet, I didn’t know about either of those and they both look cool. I liked the first M3gan
I can't vouch for Late Night with the Devil because I haven't seen it yet, but it had very positive reactions at festivals and it looks fun. I'm excited to check it out.
Definitely recommend Housebound if you liked M3gan. Has a similar 'dry humor' style where the things happening are silly but it takes itself seriously. The director makes fun movies and afaik he's doing M3gan 2.0 as well.
Gonna download it and watch it this weekend. Sounds interesting.
Enjoy anon, it's a fun movie. I should actually rewatch it sometime.
Long legs
A Haunting in Venice if that counts.
It was dogshit so I can't imagine how bad the other two are when everyone says this is the best of the three.
Pumpkinhead 3 and 4 earlier in the week.
Just watched The Killing Of A Sacred Deer. That was one of the weirdest things I've seen lately, not so much for the story as the acting.
>not so much for the story as the acting.
Yeah, Yorgos Lanthimos doesn't let his characters act like real people in his movies, everyone has to be extremely autistic
wtf I didn’t know there was a pumpkinhead 3 or 4
The collector was fricking awesome. Is the second one any good?
Yeah it's fun and worth a watch if you liked the first.
Sweet I’m for sure watching that tomorrow. Also, is the implication supposed to be that this fella is the collector?
Slopanon? Is that you?
Also yeah The Collector disguised himself as an exterminator to get access to the house, been a while since I watched it but iirc that's him.
Yeah it’s me. That’s pretty cool. I was wondering why they included that random exterminator interaction early on and as soon as they showed the collectors van at the end it all starting tying together. Really kino movie
>Yeah it’s me.
Based
>That’s pretty cool. I was wondering why they included that random exterminator interaction early on and as soon as they showed the collectors van at the end it all starting tying together.
Yeah it's a neat detail
>Really kino movie
Agreed, one of my favorites of the 2000s. It's something I put on when I want a movie that's really fast paced and energetic, shit hits the fan once he breaks into the house.
Yeah, it's pretty good. It's about the Collector's secret lair.
I watched The Collection before knowing about The Collector. I preferred the sequel.
The addams family 2019
Alien
No. I didn't watch any
Messiah of Evil anon
I will now proceed to watch Messiah of Evil (1973)
Not a movie, but I caught this gem of an episode
Forgot pic related
I just watched Halloween Kills and i liked it a lot. I thought the idea of the town being tired of this shit was cool and their over-the-top acting was entertaining for me. Great kills, too.
This is the only one I haven’t watched yet. I saw the 2018 one and got roped into watching Ends so now it feels weird to watch the 2nd one. Maybe one day I’ll come around to it.
I love the Saw films so it’s natural that I liked it. The part where he threw the German Shepard with the flaming trash bin on its head at the collector who proceeded to blow it into pieces mid air almost brought me to tears with laughter and I had to rewind it a couple times kek
Based beyond belief
>The part where he threw the German Shepard with the flaming trash bin on its head at the collector who proceeded to blow it into pieces mid air almost brought me to tears with laughter and I had to rewind it a couple times kek
One of the most kino scenes of all time, I remember rewinding the first time I saw it too. I love how insane the movie gets.
Literally just watched the same vid and disliked that guy at the bottoms comment who said it wasn’t good lmao
Pretty sure disliking comments hasn't done anything on Youtube in nearly a decade but I disliked it too for you anyway.
I don’t even know why I read them. Guilty pleasure I suppose.
cool:
>literally any shot of michael, hysteria plot, "he was staring at his reflection!"
moronic:
>brutally bad dialog, total lack of subtlety, character motivations are suicidal, Laurie being an annoying b***h in the hospital by adding nothing
in short, EVIL DIES TONIGHT!
I agree with the lack of subtlety and weird dialogue but i liked it despite that. It felt more like a b movie in this world of tryhard arty horror movies and i appreciated the hamfistedness of it.
Just watch it for the kills and the hysteria. You'll have a good time.
not sure if you've seen the new Exorcist but it's fully just David Gordon Green being a moron.
he's a decent director but we need a court order to stop him entering any writing room again.
I never saw it because i heard bad things at the time, but i should check it out just to see what's goin on with DGG.
The Rezort (2015), on the surface it's Jurassic Park with zombies, but it's actually a red pill about how charities for refugees can actually be exploitative and predatory human traffickers. The film started out with praises for the happy merchant who runs the Rezort as businesswoman of the year, as a humanitarian, and then reveals that she's an animal worse than the zombies.
Poor Things
Drive My Car
Why are you asking that like I'm suppossed to be watching horror movies all the time?
You actually are supposed to be doing that. One a week at least.
Bit of a mess but still a pretty cool flick.
Unbelievable that no one outside heard their pleas for help, and they didn't try other ways to escape.
the NIght Eats the World. pretty good.
its hilarious the only other person that main protagonist meets in the movie is an african female lol
I haven't seen this but I looked it up and it says the girl is Persian, not African.
dude, in the movie, she plays an african. out of all the people they could've picked for the only other person in the film set in France, they pick a colored female.
>theramin starts playing
>toccata & fugue in d minor starts playing
I have never seen or heard of this instrument and I thought I knew most instruments. Very cool
You might not have known the name but I'd be shocked if you've never heard it before, theremins are/were used commonly in soundtracks.
I watched the Fargo season 5 episode where it’s Halloween and the house gets broken into and it was pretty scary. I was really high though
How is Earworm?
I actually haven’t watched a horror movie this year yet. Nothings really caught my eye except Stopmotion
Here’s a fun one. What are some horror movies where characters get cut in half? But not cut in half across the waist, separating the butt and legs from the torso, and also not cut in half the Bone Tomahawk/Terrifier way, but instead cut in half in the same way you’d slice a 12oz steak in half if you were making two 6oz steaks. Cut in half exposing the internal organs and such.
Resident evil 1? Hannibal tv show?
fricking kek at this description.
Thir13en Ghosts is one.
Also depending on how you view the anatomy of horses, The Cell.
Basket Case 2 and 3
Curse of the Fly
just finished Earworm. the poster looks cool. the movie is interesting enough to keep watching. One time watch.
Smile
Hereditary
waddup
Chopping Mall
I've only seen 9 movies this year so far, all horror. I just watched this and it surprised me that a remake was actually pretty good.
>big breasts everywhere
>everyone's white
>gore and practical effects are pretty good
>shannon elizabeth playing a goth girl
>kino horror punk and goth metal soundtrack
Furlong was a shitty casting decision since I hate that fat frick, but he still did a good job. I typically hate horror movies post-y2k but this is one of the good ones.
