Man, I actually like half the episodes and I'll probably keep watching the series for now but some of the writing has been painful. Like the decision to try to portray the characters both as literal man-killing demons and also uwu soft boys that only need some love and affection. Vivzie clearly doesn't have a coherent idea of what her demons are supposed to be, just a bunch of rough ideas that she can't quite manage to fit together except by throwing them all together and hoping they stick. Would be way better if they at least toned down all the drama.

Idk I think they’re going for the edgy teens who feel like outcasts and are emotionally vulnerable crowd so it makes sense to me. They’re good characters to self insert into.

The problem is that the series goes overboard in making the characters "emotionally vulnerable" to the point where it comes off as ham-handed, not least because of the jarring contrast between the show's dramatic and comedic moments. The writers are seemingly incapable of reconciling these two aspects of the show in any elegant matter, and the last two episodes have been the worst offenders in this regard.
Stolas' wife totally deserves being cheated on, because I like Stolas as a character!!
As a homophobe this show is unenjoyable to watch. really do not like Blitzo or Stolas nor do I think they are 'good' demons no matter how much the creators are trying to make me empathize with them
