Initially, discovery was focused on streaming and slashing drainage from other areas but they will turn their attention to simi autonomous HBO soon
I expect a shake up and cancelations as they need time to produce new shows.
And Zaslav hasn’t been shy about the vision of HBO and of its programs
So just cancel it. Save the money and put it in real estate or something. There's no point in even wasting the time or taking the risk on a show you can't afford to make and clearly HBO can't afford to make this show.
