By not giving a frick. Writers are fricked. No one fricking cares. UPS threatens to strike and they work out a deal. The world needs thier shit shipped. Writers not writing doesn't have an emidiate lasting effect.
Anybody else typically pro-union but wholeheartedly want these to fail? For the studious to be so obviously soulless, against us and for global capitalism but the only gripe that white leftists have is their own pay, truly despise these rich kids larping as men/women of the people and betraying mental, spiritual and cultural health for profit and sense of superiority, nobody deserve a loss more. New shit sucks anyway, succession fricking sucked, The Idol is the most israeli-millennial shit that’s ever existed, so stagnant and boring, lame untalented rich-kid bisexuals.
Agreed and these homosexuals make more than I may ever make in my life, but also Succession was great and the writers are British anyway so they're not the ones striking and you're moronic.
Reminder that these people never cared when blue collar jobs were under threat from AI and robotics. If the situation was reversed, if blue collar workers were striking against AI, these same arrogant, out of touch Hollywood elites would be labeling the strikers as "a threat to democracy" and calling for the FBI and National Guard to break the strike. They can all go to hell.
Noone would even notice that they were on strike if they didn't post about this shit on twitter 24/7.
Which really shows how important these people are. Just name a single profession whose strike you wouldn't notice in real life Just a single one
the entertainment industry is the core of democracy, it won't die, even if it means externalizing everything to japan and korea.
Plus it's summer and nobody gives a shit about tv shows right now. In September it's going to be another story
dont forget that the japanese bureaucratic bugs have allowed AI to be trained on pirated data, this is why, even though the japanese Ai models are crap, all the western merchants make a deal with japan firms to train the western AI on the pirated data in japan, and they will import back into the west the output. This means all the wageslaves in the entertainment industry are killed. good riddance.
I support the studios
I support them to continue striking for as long as possible, until they are replaced entirely by AI
i support both sides because I want both sides to die
By only watching old media that is not subjected to ESG scores.
support DEEZ NUTS
That's still going?

I'd argue it only has a positive effect. Less propaganda
I just want the unions and the studios stalemated long enough for AI movie generation to mature and replace them all.
By doing what I was doing before the strike, which is pirating ALL of the movies and shows that I watch

I like the idea of unions.
This. If unions were so bad , why does no one ever talk about abolishing police unions?
NO MORE DEAD COPS

Because I want Hollywood to burn.
If we get a second Hollywood New Wave, this would be all worth it.
Lower budget films but with much more creativity and experimentation.
I dont. Sarah Gadon is not in SAG and she's hasnt said a word about it.

This. Whole class of scabs now crying when it's their turn on the chopping block.
By waiting for the decline in quality and workload of film & tv.
>waiting for
anon, I...
You think it's bad now, just you wait.

cop strike
kek, coasties wouldn't even see a difference
Any good slogans from the strike? They are writers so surely they should be able to come up with something cool.
if i were in ellay, i'd driveby with a waterpistol for kicks, to show my discontent
There's people living above their means in SAG and the WGA. And some living below.
Is there an actual chance hollywood will die completely???
That would be interesting.

Theres already been plenty of shows and movies made, we dont need any more
I am pirating everything I watch. In solidarity against the studios of course.
