My idea is that it would be an anthology series like Hammer and Bolter exploring different places in the setting and aspects of the setting. And at the end it’s revealed that the story is being told to a group of kids three in the front row being the three representing the three premade options from Fallout 2.
Tale of the Wasteland they could call it, and it would show a number of stories about the various groups and places in the series. Like the rise of the Brotherhood, Richard Grey becoming The Master, The Vault Dweller founding Arroyo.

But super slow paced (surprisingly little happens considering it's 8 one hour episodes.) and didn't seem to really have anything new or interesting to say if you're a fan of the series. All the characters just kind of evoke existing ones from the games. And they try to frame cold fusion, pre-war people getting cryogenically frozen, and Vault Tec being evil as big twists but we literally already had all of these things in the setting.
That said it didn't feel like it was created by people who hate the IP like say, Netflix Castlevania. And I don't think the lore contradictions were done out of malice, just ignorance.

Play Fallout 4, there's computer shop there that talks about different kinds of terminals. You will see it if you play the Automatron dlc.
