I'm like really far behind, reading Detective until Joker War and then move to the main title.
Tynion was decent on Detective, really enjoyed the Knights, but it felt rushed after Tim return and Batwing and Azreal had nothing to do after their arcs, plus Spoiler wasn't a threat at all and Knights vs Batwoman's Colony should have been an entire arc.
All I see on Tynion's run of the main book is a bunch of OCs, they are all bad, right? Have yet to read it and I know I will hate Punchline.
Here's my experience with them, the moment you've finished Tom King's run. You'll find the OCs decent because of WTF King did after issue 50. Literally Miracle Molly was just there, Punchline was eh, Clown Hunter Kid was just there. Literally all the OCs are just there, but to call them the worst? Nah, they ain't no Harper Row
because everyone was sucking King's dick back when he was a new face so DC decided to make him their star writer without realizing he only has one story
Complaining about this page is stupid, considering the context. The Flashes are being puppeteered by Ivy here, so they cannot go that fast and cannot react any faster than she can. They already knew how far the Flashes would be from their location and how fast they would be going, so it's only a matter of getting the timing right.
King's run was good, and a lot of what people dislike was due to editorial meddling like making Alfred dead for real.
They just ran across the entire country dodging cars, trees, potholes and everything else in their way. They were moving faster than anything on earth. If catwoman was even grazed by any of them she’d be salsa on the ground. And yet she struck them with precision at superhuman speed and wasn’t hurt at all.

This comic page by Grant and Breyfogle is more juvenile, the writing more soap opera and melodramatic, along with the art being more "cartoony and simple", but it feels far more impactful, more deep without veering into quotes you can just cut out.
