I'm on my second watch of Bluey and it's just as good as FiM S1&2. I've watched Littlest Pet Shop 2012, Hilda, EQG, Centaurworld, DCSHG, Amphibia, Filly Funtasia, Hanazuki, and Summer Camp Island but it wasn't until Bluey that I truly felt the early FiM magic again. I appreciate that it has all the same building blocks but with a completely different approach to storytelling. I would have never believed it was possible to convey so much emotion and happiness in 7 minute bursts. The voice direction and sound design is so incredible that even the small scope episodes that take place in a couple of backdrops can have amazing moments. Then as the show progress the writing, animation, and larger scope brings it all together to make some of the best stuff I've ever seen in a cartoon. Forget the morons who sell the miscarriage and infertility memes, the show is at its best in its wholesome moments.

Not even close. Bluey here only expanded far as two boards: Cinemaphile and /trash/. They're not as obnoxious as what the MLPgays, who spammed the hell outta of Cinemaphile as the biggest attention prostitute.

Modern day spam can't influence a board. If the peridot guy spam Cinemaphile a decade ago, mods would have made a /SU/ board.

Oh man, as someone who got in early, cringed at the fanbase, and watched most of G4's content and spinoffs, I've gotta say the fanbase exploded just as much as you've probably heard.
EVERYTHING had fans hop onto it and make pony versions of it. Every show, every cartoon, every movie, there was a pony fanart of it. I don't know if there was ever a "rule 34" rule stating that everything should get pony fanart, but it did and it should've.
Pony versions of events, pony versions of one-off characters from games, pony fanfics of everything, pony fangames, pony fanart of fanart, pony fanart of fangames of fanart of fangames, etc.
Pony reimaginings of historical events, or photoshopping ponies into them, or alternate versions of those events based on if "Horse #4543" was there and could help.
Pony fanfics based on fanfics based on fanfics based on one of the spinoff movies. It just wouldn't stop.

Making things worse, the internet pushed back, so places (like Cinemaphile) would fight back and rage at any mention of pony stuff, knowing (probably correctly) that letting some pony in would cause a tidal wave, so then the noisy pony fans would get slapped around by the noisier pony haters, who then drew in more of the pony fans to defend and suddenly half the board/forum/BBS would turn to this pro/anti pony argument.

I stumbled upon Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory when I was 12 years old and it probably made me more predisposed to stuff like S&M. But I'm not going to cry and complain about it. In fact, it's surreal to see so many of my peers or even people younger than me complain about all the similar stuff that "traumatized" them as kids. Or disingenuous moralists like you trying to guilt-trip people over this. It's like nobody understands that back then internet still wasn't as widely populated by kids as it is today. It was largely adults making cool things for each other and the philosophy was that if a kid stumbles upon it, it's their parents' fault. It was literally a different time and a different culture where censoring everything for kids wasn't a consideration. What, are you seriously gonna blame random people having fun on the internet for not thinking of every child that could theoretically stumble onto their shit?

Bluey and Horse Show don't have much in common, but what they DO have in common is the idea of being "for" kids while also being made in a way that the parents don't run off to the other room.
I don't know if you've every babysat some kids, or if you have kids of your own, but the majority of shows for little kids and toddlers are AWFUL, they aren't just simple, they're ANNOYING.
Of course the Diminutive Equine Show also had the aspect of being a "show for girls" that managed to be tolerable, instead of squealing tweens wearing frilly outfits and screeching about makeup and nail polish, so that's another thing the show had going for it.
I guess Bluey kinda does it too, since it manages to have both main characters be girls without doing anything obnoxiously girly.
