don't know if a boomer or not but I always found her more annoying than both, especially the episodes and movies that center around here, cat and Ivy had actual motives and don't act like half baked moron like Harley.
Is Harley as popular as the Trinity now?
Literal boomers are unlikely to post on Cinemaphile.
Boomers don't really care about popularity contests.
>hot woman #35754 replaced hot woman #24533
We were the true winners all along.
By your own logic of what constitutes a "Boomer", Harley IS a Boomer character.
And barely anyone cared about Ivy before her association with Harley. She appeared in like, less than 10 comics that weren't rogues gallery group shot cameos. Most of them weren't even in Batman comics. She did get used in Schumacher's Batman & Robin, but...it's Batman & Robin.
>Harley IS a Boomer character
Catwoman = 1940s
Poison Ivy = 1960s
Harley = 1990s
How...?
If knowing what Cracked.com is makes you a Boomer, then knowing an ancillary character from 1992 does even more so.
I don't understand this non sequitur, but maybe it made sense in your head
Boomer as in BABY boomer. Boomers were born post WW2 into the mid to late 60s.
So explain how a 90's character belongs to a generation that was decades removed from childhood?
Have you been living under a rock for the past 3-5 years? Boomer is internet slang for anyone 25+
I actually forgot about cracked
Then I remembered what it became
I suppose it's another 'the good die young' situation. If it survives, it goes to shit.
Wait a few more years and we'll be having "How did boomers feel about Punchline surpassing the popularity of Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Poison Ivy"
She won't be as popular as Harley, but she definitely will rise considerably in popularity this decade.
If she does, hopefully they'll keep her a straight-up villain. I'm alright with the idea of Harley as a heroine, but Punchline is way too openly malicious for them to attempt further down the line.
Can’t wait.
I think the only thing keeping her from becoming really popular is the lack of a proper animated appearance, be it in a cartoon or one of those DC animated movies.
It's so weird I haven't seen anybody talking about her lately. She looks great.
there's not much to talk about, she's in the monthly joker series, so her story moves at a glacial pace. its ending next week, so lets see what happens.
other artists have been teasing art with her, so hopefully her next story moves much faster.
Stolen character design from a cooler forgotten character.
looks boring and nothing like harley quinn, 0/10
Was talking about Punchline.
still looks boring and nothing like harley quinn, 0/10
Her entire introduction was pretty good, so she had a decent start, what with weaponizing simping and whatnot
Based Punchline poster
I think it's pretty based.
Very based, just like those hips
The entire film was really fricking good. Don't give a frick what people say about nu-90's Harley's VA, she kills it in my book.
Her VA was fine, it's just that some of the material is pretty crap, like that entire scene of Harley farting in the Batmobile. But overall the good did outweigh the bad, like the bad guy bar scene and the ending with Ivy.
If it meant more material with classic, 90's Harley, I'd be happy with it, as is, I'm indifferent.
>Poison Ivy
the only reason because she is popular is actually ivuy, because you know ''muh lesbians''
I like Ivy, but it is true that she's a pretty one-note character on her own. Once you've read like half a dozen Ivy stories, you've pretty much read them all
Not really surprised, considering Catwoman and Poison Ivy were already decades old by the time Harley was created, and a cute clown girl to juxtapose the usual femme fatales in Batman stories was bound to become popular.
>Harley Quinn
Absolutely pathetic.
Boomer: Who the frick is Harley Quinn, you mean Joker's Daughter from Teen Titans??
I’m not a boomer, but Alex Ross likes Harley. That’s a pretty good gauge imo of what boomers like.
He paints Adam West and Michael Keaton, but not Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, or Robert Pattinson.
Personally, I think boomers prob liked Batman: The Animated Series as a whole. It’s better than any Batman cartoon before it by a million miles, and it does a good blend of a ton of different bat-eras, and it’s very respectful to the source material. Unless you’re an Adam West purist I can’t think of any good reason to dislike it.
Like I say, I’m not a boomer. I don’t know any boomer Batman fans personally, but because Alex Ross likes her, and because I’ve never heard a boomer b***h about the cartoon, I think they like Harley Quinn
Boomers hated The Batman remember, couldn't accept a show that knew it was a kids show vs animated series which clearly a kids show but tried to hide from it lot of the time and lead some shit eps cuz of it.
I have no knowledge of what boomers thought of The Batman, but it doesn’t affect what their opinion on BTAS was. Hell, a lot of people who dislike The Batman hate it because it’s not BTAS
Shame, honestly. I'm 28 and I liked The Batman when it was on. Admittedly I still preferred BTAS but The Batman could stand on its own two feet just fine.
>very respectful to the source material.
not really, it kind of shits on 50s concepts like Batmite
good show otherwise.
this shitty character is Harley
Even in the comics NuHarley is trash.
Punchline and Joker haven't even tongue kissed like Joker and Harley did.
Based Punch.
Joker knows Punchline would bite his tongue off for fun if they did.
nahh, she's feisty, but she's still head over heels for him.
It's exactly because she's head over heels for him that she'd do it. They'd both probably get off on it.
I feel like she needs to farm super bad.
morons mad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvtokd_F3TE
Boomers don't even know who Harley is
