The Last Jedi mogs T2 and the entire Pirates trilogy. It also mogs the Mummy which is a very good movie, but still very flick like.
It's just as masterful as LOTR in it's craft. It's more "deep" than Jurassic Park which is also amazing, but is a simple 2 hour flick with great effects, production etc.
So yes TLJ is LOTR and Jurassic Park tier amazing.
