he hasn't made anything good in 20 years, it shouldn't be a surprise by now
blade runner was 50 years ago. he is senile now
He can still direct a movie from start to finish. You can't even hold in your shart till you're out of the mart.
making The Duelists, Alien, and then Blade Runner used up all his creativity and afterwards he forgot how to make anything good
those were the first three ridley scott movies i had seen, all great films, tried watching the last duel after and LOL
my theory is he made it bad on purpose to mkae his buddies laugh
covid taught us that 99% of the world are serfs who will never revolt against the 1% with power, so who cares if they think a movie is bad?
>Blade runner
Overrated movie, carried by baby duck syndrome.
Yes blade runner is very overrated
Every time I watch Bladerunner I alternate from “this is pure kino” to “what is this boring plotless shit”
All artists hit the wall at some point. For songwriters it's typically around 30 or even earlier. Authors maybe 50 or 60. Film makers are no exception and to compound issues are usually surrounded by even more ass-kissing yes-men who won't speak a word of criticism.
Blade Runner was terrible, there I said it.
His older movies were made to appeal to midwit movie-brained morons. His later ones were made for high IQ chads.
how is he managing to do the opposite of what he intends?
the eternal anglo is still asshurt over napoleon
Dumb meme. UK government of that era nated Napoleon because they did not understand him (nor did Napoleon understand them, hence it was a mutual hate) but as a naval power, they didn't get their shit pushed in like how the Russians, Prussians, etc. did.
>fricked up his entire Egyptian and Syria campaign
>Trafalgar
>fricked up his domestic and international agendas via naval blockades
>Wellington's record against his underlings in Iberia
>when they finally, FINALLY, fought Napoleon on land, the army Wellington compared was international but still heavily British and a British man was its overall commander
>were then the guys who got to be his jailors at St. Helena
Britain didn't have to lick their wounds over some series of devastating humiliations like with the Continentals. Scott, as an old fricker, simply saw Napoleon as funny stupid short-tempered man in big hat. The most few generations of British historians are extremely admiring, Chander, Roberts, Broers, etc. People here either know jack shit about Napoleon, only really see him in the context of a great chapter in British history (because he was a worthy foe), or are full blown admirers (which he had contemporarily as well and many of whom were very influential, like Byron). This narrative of Britain being infected by this mass psychotic seethe is a Cinemaphile meme shilled by foreigners.
>>when they finally, FINALLY, fought Napoleon on land, the army Wellington compared was international but still heavily British and a British man was its overall commander
Oh, and inb4
>heh, you were saved by the Prussians!
Wellington was no more saved by Blucher than Blucher was by Wellington. Both men understood they could only get him there and then through consolidating their forces. There is a reason Blucher, alone, got his own shit pushed in as Ligny. Wellington decided to stand and fight with Prussian assurance they would arrive much like the Prussians assured they would come if Wellington stood and held the ground for several hours of the day. They worked in concert. It wasn't like Wellington arrogantly thought he could do it alone and the Prussians arrived to BTFO an army that they easily could anyway by themselves.
>Dumb meme
>*proceeds to act extremely butthurt*
His is absolutely finished now. They guy demands a 20 million dollar fee to sleepwalk through a shoot and put crap like this out. Stop paying him.
What, the last decade of Ridley didn't give you a clue that he's completely fricking lost his mind?
How did the creator of fricking Robin Hood, The Counselor, Exodus and The Last Duel make something as good as Blade Runner (even with 5 attempts)?
He wasn't 150 years old when he made Brade Runnah.
He knocked his head sometime during filming gladiator is my theory, or some kind of dementia has set in. I’ve heard the conjecture that he’s just getting old and wants to do as much as he before he can’t but I don’t see how churning out a plethora of shit will ensure his legacy. Slow down and make kino.
chuddies mad
he's just a seething anglo. why would you expect him to produce anything other than a hitpiece? All the sex scenes in the movie and comically bad because they're blatantly made to emasculate napoleon. They're basically all him jackhammering josephine's pussy from behind for 20 seconds while she looks at the wall bored
and the cuck shit? lmao the homosexual ridley couldnt have been a bit more subtle? it was ridiculous
why are 4chuds always so homoerotic? some of you literally sound like youre gay for a dead french midget
>Starts career with a good period piece and a great sci-fi movie
>At the end of his career he makes two terrible sci-fis and two even worse period pieces
Like poetty.
You should read Wikipedia article before shills edited it, you would know.
>Muh movie about Napoleon but HAHAH through the eyes of his prostitute!
Enjoy another feminist slop
