Yeah, Mando had some moronic shit too but it was ignorable overall and the good parts made up for it. Meanwhile, Obi Wan constantly throws dumb shit in your face and is just boring for the most part. That's honestly what it comes down to. Content for the sake of content. Canon or consistency are largely irrelevant; it's more about superficial references and seeing the Star Wars artifacts (= characters, ships, locations etc.). What these characters do or say is ultimately not that relevant, the important thing is that they're there and in the same universe and that it makes people go "YES! I know/remember this!" That's the new Star Wars.

The show is absolute garbage. Kenobi encountering Darth Vader, watching him murder people to draw him out and then leaving him alive makes him responsible for every single death from that point on. He thought he was leaving Anakin to die at the end of Revenge of the Sith and his mistake was not finishing the job. That's a proper tragic mistake. But intentionally walking away from an enemy you know will kill people just to get what they want? That is something else entirely.
Aside from that let's look at a few problems with the series. >Reva can travel without a ship faster than Kenobi can with one. >Not murdering a small child makes up for almost a decade of killing people and cutting people's hands off to make them talk. >The name of a planet and the fact there is a 'boy' on that planet is enough for Reva to know she needs to find Owen. >Kenobi has a conversation with Leia while on the back of a truck with Stormtroopers about what being a Jedi is like. >Organa gave Kenobi a one way ticket to a planet to save his adopted daughter and nothing else. Not a ship, not money, nothing. >Leia vacillates between being the smartest person in the room and not being able to pronounce words correctly. >The proto-rebellion escapes the planet despite the fact that Vader's Star Destroyer is in orbit above it. It doesn't interact with the ship until Vader reboards. >Kenobi is now a criminal who steals from his boss, but it's okay because the boss is a dick? >Kenobi uses a human shield to defend himself from blaster fire.

I don't understand why I should care about the Third Sister in any way even after her "redemption". The sheer amount of plot armor she had to survive not only getting Vader'd but Vader'd twice is sheer lunacy.
Also, how in the hell does Luke not remember any of this? If you watch the first movie again he's got a barely passing notion at who Ben is and just calls him an "old wizard" as if he's dismissing The Force or Lightsabers when he was chased around by a crazed magician with a red stick who nearly killed him when he was younger.
Also also, why in the hell is Obi-Wan so open about being a Jedi to Luke or Mos Eisley and brandishing a lightsaber when like 10 or so years prior to this he was breaking out in cold sweats and shying away from even touching the thing? It makes sense with Cal, it's literally right after Order 66 happens, but with Obi-Wan it's quite a while after Order 66 and then the first movie should be at the tail end of when Rebels happens. How does no one know what a Jedi is when less than 20 or 30 years ago they were policing all of the galaxy and how does no one immediately start leaving or backing off when a guy pulls his Lightsaber out? They all just go back to drinking while like one guy reports it to low level Stormtroopers. I can at least understand how no one was tied to Maul tracking him down since Maul died in the desert.

-young Han solo where he ends up defeating Vader

The fights with Vader were a stupid idea and they took all the weight out of the fight in A New Hope, at least they didn't have Vader win then the "now I am the master" line would have made NO sense. Only if you choose to view these Disney shows as canonical, which I don't. Stuff like Obi-Wan watchable and sometimes even quite good but I think of it in the same terms as the old paperback Star Wars novels and Dark Horse comics; it's officialized fanfiction. When I next watch ANH I won't be thinking about the events of the Obi-Wan series at all, they occupy two separate galaxies in my mind.

I don't understand why I should care about the Third Sister in any way even after her "redemption". She was an unlikable butthole during the entire show, she pretty much nearly killed Luke, she led to the deaths of untold amounts of people just to get a chance at Vader and failed, and she acted like a basket case towards the end. The sheer amount of plot armor she had to survive not only getting Vader'd but Vader'd twice is sheer lunacy.
Also, how in the hell does Luke not remember any of this? If you watch the first movie again he's got a barely passing notion at who Ben is and just calls him an "old wizard" as if he's dismissing The Force or Lightsabers when he was chased around by a crazed magician with a red stick who nearly killed him when he was younger.
Also also, why in the hell is Obi-Wan so open about being a Jedi to Luke or Mos Eisley and brandishing a lightsaber when like 10 or so years prior to this he was breaking out in cold sweats and shying away from even touching the thing? It makes sense with Cal, it's literally right after Order 66 happens, but with Obi-Wan it's quite a while after Order 66 and then the first movie should be at the tail end of when Rebels happens. How does no one know what a Jedi is when less than 20 or 30 years ago they were policing all of the galaxy and how does no one immediately start leaving or backing off when a guy pulls his Lightsaber out? They all just go back to drinking while like one guy reports it to low level Stormtroopers. I can at least understand how no one was tied to Maul tracking him down since Maul died in the desert.
Besides the original trilogy, the cartoons, and some of the games, every single star wars media has been shit and will always remain shit.
