It bombed so hard they had to not only buy out the theatres, but also RT. We had theatre anons reporting in all across opening week, taking pictures of the empty, yet seemingly "sold out" screenings. We also had multiple reports of "local" groups/companies doing mass buyouts of show times via the theatres website, then no one showing up, per above. Bree Larsen is a shitty actress, and was such a c**t during the press tours that Disney was on full damage control mode. They literally had to edit a smile on her face, a la blade runner, because she refused to smile because "Captain Marvel doesn't need to smile at men." This was their first female led MCU movie, and they couldn't let it flop with Avengers so close to it's conclusion.

Western cultural domination is dying to Japan, Alita was a western made film but it was based an a japanese work, it would have represented the final death of western power.
Also what captain marvel represented to begin with was more important.

Mulan wasn't part of Endcringe, Marvel and DC were forcing "muh muh first black super hero muh muh first female super hero" (Even when we have Blade and Spawn movies or how Avengers had Black Widow, Scarlett Witch and the girl of lost). If this crap wouldve fell, Endcringe wouldve followed the same way.

Now they need Tobey, Andrew, some X-Men or FF bait to sell their crap.

Everyone thought it would have “essential information” about Endgame because Captain Marvel was going to be in Endgame and she’s the most powerful hero ever etc etc, it was literally all just a bait, none of anything that happened in the shit movie had any effect on Endgame. They literally baited people into watching a movie that was sandwiched between to billion dollar blockbusters which made it become a billion dollar blockbuster. Fricking moron MCUtards.

Fricking incredible how they suckered so many people into watching literally 50 different dog shit """"films"""" for the chance to say "hey that's the other one! from the other one!" when they appeared on the screen for 30 seconds. The manufactured hype was unreal
      >According to CBS 58, Steve Ruppel saw Captain Marvel a staggering 116 times at the Marcus Cedar Creek Cinema in Rothschild, Wisconsin. As Captain Marvel has a runtime of approximately 123 minutes, that means Ruppel has spent 14,268 minutes watching the film, which is equal to 237.8 hours or 9.9 days, since the movie released in early March. He remarked that he took time off of work in order to see the film

Public schools because of "womyn representation" (also because it's good for teacher to have your feral nigglets in the theater for a couple of hours instead of trying to teach them). Same happened with black panther btw, their success is funded by your tax dollars

Disney, there were a lot of reports of empty theaters for supposedly almost sold out shows.
You have to remember this movie was at roughly the same time as Alita, they absolutely could not afford to have their first female led marvel film get beaten by a manga adaption

      Anonymous

This is probably the 20th time I do this and I hate this fricking movie.
There's two actual """reports""" of empty theaters, fricking look it up, if the thread surviver I'll bring more stuff.
Both twitter accounts, which is great evidence. (people just hear: someone reported empty theaters...guess that's a fact now). One had dozens of tweets shiting on Brie Larson way before the movie came out (which is not suspicious at all). And the other had a single post.
You homosexuals are desperate for yet another conspiracy, but is very simple, endgame sold those tickets aswell. Disney knows the movie is garbage, so much so that they're not even making a proper sequel.

It was wedged between Infinity War and Endgame and hyped up as a bridge between them, and that Captain c**t would play a big role in Endgame. Hence, people went in droves to see it, and her reception was so poor that her role was allegedly reduced in Endgame.
Long story short, the next film she's in won't make anywhere near as much.

Not that odd. She made multiple videos of herself being an insufferable b***h during the advertising blitz for Captain Marvel. Couple that with her having all the screen presence and charisma of a wooden plank in that film, and there you have it.

      This.

Basically the sales figures for each movie are inflated/deflated by the last one. Infinity War was good, inflated the numbers for Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel sucked, and deflated the numbers for Endgame, but harder to notice since it was second part and final movie fueled by whole MCU. So feminists claim victory.

It's like any company/product coasting on established good will, until it loses it.

Same with Black person Panther's supposed "success". It was a crap movie. This movie from the 80's based on a real Zulu King was actually more entertaining and he was more of a badass than that metrosexual Black person in the MCU movie:

Oh wait ... I'm sorry ... I must have imagined this existing since there were no Black folk in movies back then. SO DISREGARD THAT I SUCK wienerS.

They sandwiched it between Infinity War and Endgame and included her in the after credit scene of IW. People thought she would be important and that they would have to watch it to understand Endgame.
Marvel and DC have been doing stuff like this in comics for decades. Endgame is the "event" and Captain Marvel is the "Tie in" that doesn't really have anything to do with the event but you have to collect them all
