Plenty of options but whatever they go with is gonna be executed in the most rushed and unearned way, this could've been resolved 100 chapters ago.

These are both wrong. Femto is a demigod. Even with the full might of the Berserker armor, Guts is still human, not to mention the armor eats him alive if he loses control. Also, becoming an Apostle would arguably make Guts weaker, as Apostles are bound to the will of the God Hand. Ganishka harassed more power than any other Apostle and his death was still part of Griffith's master plan.
Miura pretty much gave it away in that chapter he deleted. The idea of evil exists because people want to believe it exists. Griffith's worldly power comes from people believing that he is this great saviour who will usher in a new golden era of civilisation. His downfall is going to come from being exposed as a petty self-centred egotist which will devest him of his godly aura and everyone will abandon him. I can envisage it as him screaming to his followers while his form deteriorates back to his tortured appearance until he is silenced by his tongue falling out all the while they look on in disgust and turn away. The method in how this would come about is uncertain to me but I can imagine it will be Caska denouncing him that probably sparks it.
Skull Knight attacked the God Hand with his Behelit Sword, opening a portal to the swirling of souls void. I assume his intentions is to suck the God Hand there so they lose their individuality in the vortex of souls. It should work as we got a panel of other God Hand members in the past which are different from the current incarnations. So, I am assuming Skull Knight defeated them with the Sword by porting them to the vortex.
Stopped reading the manga a while ago. Are they still going? I know that Miura's friend took over. Last chapter I read, Griffith went to that fantasy world and kidnapped Casca. I thought he would be dead by now and the manga over.
