go ask the fine people at reddit, where you came from
>le heckin' reddit XD
have a nice day
redditors tend to get upset when they're pointed out. Like they know they should be mocked and humiliated for it.
How exactly would you know this much about redditors unless you use reddit yourself?
Because of you homosexuals that come here.
You don't have to be a Black to understand them when you have to deal with them.
>You're the redditor! Not me, it's you!
What's up with this projection shit?
You're not good at this.
You even reply like a redditor.
Again, how the frick do you even know what a redditor replies like?
>You can just tell one!
But how? How exactly do you know how one types and acts? How do you know what they like?
Are you this moronic on your preferred website as well?
The whole reason you started calling me a redditor was because I told you to have a nice day for saying reddit. Why? Because reddit isn't an actual argument. It literally means nothing, unless you use reddit youself. Saying reddit is the same as those homosexuals who post soijaks as some sort of argument. They have no real opinion about anything, they just listen to what 4chins or plebbit tells them to think, they want to fit in. They probably haven't seen have of the films they complain about besides from clips their favorite israelitetuber shows.
>Somebody disagrees with my opinion!? REDDITOR!
>Is that a film I don't like!? REDDIT!
>Is that somebody who is calling me out for having no real opinions? LE GO BACK!
your insistence on such matters outs you as one
and even if you never set foot on redd*t, your behavior makes you an honorary redditor now
>Yeah my fellow Cinemaphileners, I certainly do know exactly how a redditor thinks, types, acts, what they enjoy, and literally everything else about one! I have never used reddit or anything though!

Also check out what cult video labels like Shout Factory, Arrow Video, Criterion, 88 Films, etc are putting out and see what subgenres you're into. When you find a movie you like, take note of who directed it, who starred in it, who wrote the screenplay, etc and seek out more by them
this
at any rate don't listen to people here. Most have legit bad taste and others are pseuds who seek validation by making you watch mid obscure shit
I just hear the name of the movie and I know if I'm meant to see it or not
ask on the Cinemaphile subreddit
>le lenny face
on Cinemaphile?
>I only open goyslop threads, so as far as I can tell those are the only threads that exist.
>Even though every thread is either goyslop or shitty memes/bait!
>since as far as I can tell, every thread I choose to open is every thread
>Even though any time a good movie is actually discussed, people will call it "reddit" for the (You)s, or the thread will get very few replies.
>I spend all my time in goyslop threads because I am too afraid of other people's opinions to have genuine discussion even under the guise of anonymity.
>Implying that genuine film discussion about any film is actually possible here besides very rare occasions
>Even though I have no idea in practice since I only open goyslop thread and I am too afraid to actually engage in genuine discussion myself.
>Even though I literally don't even go in goyslop threads and check for good threads often, and try to discuss kino here all the time
There's two kinds of Reddit. There's the modern slop reddit where you heckin clap for the strong female characters and homosexuals and Black folk. Then there's generic npc reddit where every smoothbrained frick says they love the movie and think it's the greatest thing ever. You can watch and enjoy the films in the latter group, but don't be a moronic fanboy over it.
I just go on letterbox, sort by year, look at posters and watch the trailer on YouTube. Ive pretty much given up on listening to other people's opinions on movies because 90% of time it's stupid garbage. I thought 2023 was the worst year in movies, but this new method I did I found alot of great stuff I never heard about.
>I just go on letterbox
I used to come here for good rec's, but now I'm the old one who is supposed to be giving you info. Nowadays I mostly cruise Turner Classic Movies or Criterion Channel, watch whatever is new on the catalog and when I find an interesting film I see who was involved and start watching the films of their career. Not necessarily actors or directors either, sometimes I like to follow sound mixers, cinematographers, visual fx guys, etc.
forgot to mention, when everything I see on offer looks like shit, I go here: https://366weirdmovies.com/the-weird-movie-list/ and I pick one at random.
>turner classic movies
isn’t that the channel with legit lack and white movies? You absolute bonafide boomer
I come here and just avoid anything and everything that has seething leftards and trannies defending it.
Rating across multiple sources. Genre you are feinding for, directors/writers/actors you like, time periods, release years filter, start with films that are widely regarded as good across multiple top 25 50 100 etc for all time/time period or genre
If the movie has more than 3 minorities in it, I skip it. You'd be surpised how well this system works.
Car Wash is kino, though.
Only watch 5 types of films:
1. Hong Kong action movies from 1966-1997
2. silent comedies
3. adaptations from books and/or theater
4. 80s comedies
5. 80s action movies
You almost can't go wrong with the first 2. Stick with the above 5 and you'll find almost all the best movies. There's no easier way to avoid crap.
What do you like?
I'll give you guaranteed kino recs.
I'm waiting, homosexual.
horror kino
>inb4 all horror is le bad
???
The horror general is one of the few serious threads on this board.
And it's currently gone, besides for every now and then. Also this years /hor/ was filled with autism, more than any other year.
Kwaidan
One of the bad horror flicks
I keep a list
Get a Criterion Collection Subscription if you're serious.
Sarah Gadon and her favorite co-star; a big black wiener, doesn't matter who owns it.
idk I hate movies
Use my kinotic intuition of course. You can tell within 5 seconds of looking at something whether it's dogshit or kino
This, I never watch any films that I don't enjoy unless somebody else recommends it to me or I'm watching something one of my parents have chosen.
ok, heres a good movie for you to watch, although despite it's fairly good cast, its basically completely unknown.
I enjoyed it
t. the only other person thats seen it
if tv hates it go watch.
Start by going through the works of your favorite directors/actors/writers. By doing that you may discover more people who's work you are interested and it snowballs from there.
Look up a movie I like on IMDb, then look at the similar or suggested movies or whatever it's called. Next thing you know you have 20 new movies in your watchlist.
kino channel
usually browsing wikipedia or imdb
there's some good recommendations on here too but you have to read through the irony and shitposts. someone recommended the old vampire film Martin the other day which I enjoyed
There was a great thread the other day about older underrated movies from the 80s and 90s ill find the movies people mentioned that I saved
check out criterion collection or most movies on tubi
