Don't do it for the system, do it for the safety of the people around you. Quagmire's perversions affect those closest to him in a negative way, like when he tried to frick Meg.

They cut back. Family Guy is in a weird phase where it kind of unfricked itself. Brian acts more like a dog than he ever did. Stevie’s gayness got turned down and he acts more like a baby. Lois is more like a middle-aged wine aunt, even Meg doesn’t really get as much shit as she used to from the family and is more of a regular teen.
I don’t think they did a Brian/Quagmire episode in a while now. But it was referenced quite frequently fora long time. I never really enjoyed the episodes because Quagmire is basically the same character that Brian was at his peak obnoxiousness.
