Boomers really weren't that smart. To do as little work as possible for an employer while still getting paid should be common sense. Seems like few of them figured this out.
You know that's effectively lying, right? Because I'm guessing you aren't ulfront about your little "slack off as much as possible" attitude in the interview. Probably because you know it's wrong.
Should I feel bad about lying to corpo homosexuals? If you're working for your family you don't do this, but if you're a wageslave for some megacorp why the frick should you feel bad about not contributing anything?
You probably never work a day in your life, probably never worked in a office. So you probably never expirienced the agony of meaninlessly wasting the time of your life in a crumted stuffy office while idiotic manager constantly buzzing in your ear.
I got sick of my job last week and put in my two weeks, working in some shitty warehouse slinging boxes with a bunch of drug addicts and autistic morons. And they're promoting some Black person over me that's only been there half as long as I have. Frick this shit, I'm done. thank god I have family that will help me out or I'd be fricked, because the job market for unskilled labor is a joke and I'm not doing another fricking warehouse job
maybe try some food delivery in the meantime, my friend quit his job cause he couldnt stand having coworkers or a boss and he loves it even i it pays literally half of what he mad.
>thank god I have family that will help me out or I'd be fricked
Does he have a backup plan like you? Maybe the bosses know that and that makes it easier to push the black guy around.
>the average Cinemaphile poster in CY+8
replies to obviously inflammatory bullshit and gives the attention seekers the one thing they desire.
you're so cool and above it all, though, right?

mmm yummy yummy attention in image format, no less, ensuring the thread is bumped and everyone can see you giving me all the attention i want, mmmmmmmmmmmm
nah, I've been in similar situations. Sometimes it feels like the better you are at your job or the more effort you put into it, the more likely employers are to just leave you at your current position. It takes some well thought out mild complaining or at least letting your boss know that you have opportunities elsewhere. Otherwise, why not leave the dude that's doing great at his job at his current job. Just easier. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
If you have a useful skill, and you're not, y'know, obviously incompetent and just lucky to have your job at all, you should always be job-hunting. You should be going to potential other employers and leveraging your current pay/benefits to get them to offer you more, and then if they do you leverage that offer against your current pay/benefits to get more where you already work. And then you change job if they don't give you more.
The difference between someone who does this for 20 years and someone who doesn't, who are otherwise equally skilled, can be like half the paycheck and a company car.
I kind of agree. It's good to look outside your current company. But that's not really what we were talking about.
Dude was upset that he didn't get his promotion (from within the company). He should probably look elsewhere, but I was referring to working your way up in your current company.
Why would you even bother giving 2 weeks notice for some shitty manual labor job that requires no experience to be hired? Just literally walk out of the building and don't say anything. 2 weeks notice is meant for actual career positions where you care about networking and recommendations for getting your next job.
The company I work for is supposed to give me a lot of money for something in a while, but they've been talking recently like they're not going to give it to me. I'm kind of hoping they tell me I won't get it because the only thing keeping me from quitting right now is that I want to get this money first.
i did extra unpaid work for a year to "prove I was serious" about a "guaranteed" position.
red flag 1 was them telling me I had to to an interview without any fricking warning, went into it blind 30 mins after learning about it. Red flag 2 was "we'll let you know".
Red flags three through seventeen were them calling me the following saturday morning to tell me I did not get the job rather than wait until the following monday when I returned to work, and having someone I've never spoken to be the one to call and tell me.
I wish I could say I quit but I got fired for refusing to continue to do the extra work that they had me saddled with.
Why would this statement make anyone mad?
Wagies get mad when someone implies there exists another path to enlightenment.
>I'm heckin entitled to other people's property and labor xD
Gonna cry about it?
Dumb goy, you're making the fricking line go down. Thanks to YOU now we need mass immigration.
YOU FRICKING NEED TO GO TO YOUR JOB
WHAT ARE YOU, SOME KIND OF TRUST FUND BABBY?
Dusty old bones, full of green dust.
Boomers really weren't that smart. To do as little work as possible for an employer while still getting paid should be common sense. Seems like few of them figured this out.
That isn't a boomer, anon.
You know that's effectively lying, right? Because I'm guessing you aren't ulfront about your little "slack off as much as possible" attitude in the interview. Probably because you know it's wrong.
It's more of an unspoken agreement.
Yeah like how my wife and I have an "unspoken agreement" when I'm on a business trip. Nice try.
Should I feel bad about lying to corpo homosexuals? If you're working for your family you don't do this, but if you're a wageslave for some megacorp why the frick should you feel bad about not contributing anything?
he was about to get laid off with everyone else before he was hypnotized though
You probably never work a day in your life, probably never worked in a office. So you probably never expirienced the agony of meaninlessly wasting the time of your life in a crumted stuffy office while idiotic manager constantly buzzing in your ear.
How do you respond without sounding mad?
see you tomorrow
"You'll never leave"
Frick not sounding mad.
You're not better than me, butthole, and I will tell you that.
Ok. I don’t want to force you to do something you don’t want to, I want you to want to do it out of your own free will.
Go and be free. Live a better life

keep me posted
maybe try some food delivery in the meantime, my friend quit his job cause he couldnt stand having coworkers or a boss and he loves it even i it pays literally half of what he mad.
>Couldn't stand having co-workers.
>Had to work with and rely on restraunt and fat food gays
Your friend is moronic.
You barely have to interact with anyone you moron.
Let me give you a hint. The black guy doesn’t complain and is very grateful for the job, unlike you.
The Black person complains all the time lol and he's always late while I'm always early, and he's also a registered sex offender
>thank god I have family that will help me out or I'd be fricked
Does he have a backup plan like you? Maybe the bosses know that and that makes it easier to push the black guy around.
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

Are you smarter than your boss? Maybe he’s afraid that one day you’ll take his job so he just promotes someone else instead.
Good luck, Matty
at least it was someone else internal and you weren't just passed over for some exec's nephew or cousin (twice)

You're the biggest no life loser I've ever seen on this board, you're literally on here 24 hours a day.
>Says who, you? Why should I care about what you think?
How do you respond?
>you're literally on here 24 hours a day.
Takes one to know one
Cool, what movie we watching tonight?
