Infinity War is objectively, and subjectively the better of the two, undoubtedly. Has an actual dramatic ending that (generally) was unseen by the audience. Had emotional weight and payoffs (Scarlet Witch having to go through the trauma of killing Vision, only for him to be wound back and killed again).
The villain won, and not because the heroes were dumb or made stupid mistakes. It was because the villain had been preparing for the moment for his whole life and had expertly crafted his plan with contingencies and failsafes, and the method in his madness had logical strings you could follow.
yoooo why don't people take a villain seriously when we cobble together a half assed timeline and lore for someone, with half baked and could-be or couldn't-be related tv shows and movies vs a guy we spent 21 movies setting up with well thought out pieces of lore and exposition.
It feels like forever since Endgame, remember when this franchise was unstoppable.
Part of the problem is it feels like pretty much every OG character went either in Endgame or immediately after. Cap, Natasha and Tony were either dead or geriatric, Hulk was ruined, then Thor retired due to future dementia, and their roles got taken by either characters or actors who people didn't care about. I feel like Hawkeye was the only character where that transition was handled well and that's because Clint didn't need to die or be ruined for Kate to step up. The MCU now feels like the last season of Scrubs, they should have just hit a reset button now that they have the Fox properties.
I did like how Thanos in Endgame was a less mature warrior Thanos, while Thanos from earlier movie was the old man who was at the end of his journey who had more respect for his enemies.
Do you think when Thanos snapped his fingers that half of pregnant women lost their babies? Or did it only count the women who weren't going to get abortions since leftists don't think it's a person?
I'm stuff
Defeat him in the next 15-20 minutes. Which is what they did.
I didn’t watch it. I stopped at part 1 which is objectively a better ending.

>The villain won, and not because the heroes were dumb or made stupid mistakes
except star lord
Endgame was anti-climactic in the sense that it wasn't "real" Thanos they were fighting, it was just some Thanos that hadn't beaten them.
that, plus timefrickery always cheapens things.
who asked?
marvel really thought they could up the stakes and replace this iconic villain with a big-lipped Black person named Kang

Such a dumb move. They could have easily one upped Thanos. Just use Doom.
Dr. Doom was too busy crying about September 11th
The exact moment when Marvel lost their minds.
I don't care your opinions on capeshit, but this is a dope line.
Turn off the capeshit for the sake of my own dignity.

What failures? He was and is too strong except for the part where spooderman can handle his arm
>you can reverse the damage that I've done if you take this thing away from me
>you've come to get it

Gamora doesn’t end up with Pete Quill because of Thanos
