One Piece looks like a fun show to be honest. I don't have enough time to watch the entire anime or read the manga so I'll just jump in with the show.

The anime is underrated imo but the pacing starts getting shit at Thriller Bark and the animation goes awry from Impel Down to Fishman Island. Try the One Pace fan cut.

so of the 1k episodes in onepeice maybe 300 are filler

honestly not that bad its the same as say elden ring
not to mention you will skip recaps if you are watching consistently and that will unironically drop your avereage episode time by like 5 full minutes

the problem of the anime is that airs every week and it's based on a manga that it's not finished and gets 3 chapters a month if even.
The anime of One Piece doesn't do a lot of fillers either, so you are stuck with anime content that is just a few chapters far from the manga, and it have to not catch up to it. Usually a 20 min anime episode is enough to animate 2-3 chapters of 20 pages each with an optimal pace. But One piece can't do that, so you more often than not get a 18 page chapter in a 20 min runtime, and it's real runtime is 10 mins tops, so you have endless pans, edless pauses, endless watching each others in the eyes, endless group reactions, etc... you can watch an episode at 2x and it would be better. It wasn't always as bad, but during dressrosa was unbearable.
My advice is just to read the manga

The tone of Cowboy Bebop was completely wrong. The anime was trying to take itself seriously while the Live action is anything but that.

One Piece is inherently cartoony in the best ways possible. It is pretty obvious why it should not work in live action. They're fighting an uphill battle no one asked for. All for blindly chasing brand recognition.
