This is what you get when you not only have Affirmative Action hires in front of the camera, but behind the camera too due to stupid ideological policy. Marvel, the company that made Captain America's 'spangly outfit' of all things look realistic, practical, and cool while staying faithful to the comics in the early phases, degenerates into this shit. They get rid of all the 'old white men' and the next thing you know you've got low IQ Black folk and blue-haired clueless c**ts even in charge of designing the posters and making final decisions on marketing.
You didn't notice it happening in the intervening phases, but your brain did. That's why 'everything is wrong' on every level, not just them hiring a smarmy c**t who doesn't smile to play some kind of perfect Mary Sue. It's a bigger problem than that, and why when Marvel finally went over a cliff they had zero chance of pulling out of it. On the contrary, every single person left is steering directly off that cliff and pushing down on the gas as hard as they can because they don't even know enough about the art, technical, and economic aspects to know how moronic they are.
I will only enjoy it if they have a scene where an alien rips the ass section of her pants right off, or Ms Marvel, could be any exposed ass. Just the alien bites the ass section of pants off and we see the whole ass and she has to run through the building embarrassed with one hand over her butthole until she finds new pants

Suffice it to say I've already pre ordered my tickets (and the blue ray for my collection!). I'll have the best seat in the house for what is sure to go down as an Epic adventure, something that will change the face of the MCU!

Presumably they were put out in anticipation for the movie's earlier release schedule, before it was pushed back to November. I don't know why they wouldn't just hold onto them until closer to the movie's release, the hype cycle hasn't even begun to ramp up yet.
It also seems weird to use the comics versions of the characters, which aren't going to match the MCU versions. That sort of book is aimed at properly young kids, so I could imagine them being extra confused that Ms Marvel isn't doing her shape-shifting thing.
