Basically this. Women will always think they are special.
      >I would be a wizard
      >I would be a griffindor of all the houses
      >I would be one of the heroes of the hero house

Potter merch was fricking everywhere in the 00s. Especially in the early part of the decade when the first two or three films were coming out and they were primarily targeting kids

School but it's actually a cool magical castle that you live in, no parents around, everyone has friends and no mundane, boring adult problems and worries like work and bills because magic so you can live out your teenage fantasies forever.

I read all the books recently and I'm surprised how much I enjoyed them(maybe I'm moronic for my age, I don't know). I wish I had friends like that and went to magic school, bros.....

      >I read all the books recently and I'm surprised how much I enjoyed them
it's because they're relatively simple morality tales written by a conservative christian woman

How are the evil options in Hogwarts Legacy? Can I roleplay as a c**ty Slytherin?

        Anonymous

pretty shit, the devs had to cut the evil influence and so it's just either regular or edgy dialogue option, and then good or evil ending based on how you feel.

dunno if the "kill everyone" mod is out yet but if it is then that's a start.

It's not really constructed around being evil, so the best you can get is going around being a little rude in dialogue but also casting avada kevadra willy-nilly, which feels a bit tonally dissonant.

You can roleplay as someone who's kind of a dick, but trying to play as outright evil will feel awkward

Because muggles would BTFO wizards in an all-out race war.

eh both sides would take heavy losses. remember that wizards can do shit like apparate and have AoE spells, and have potions that can alter their bodies to be more resilient to things like bullets or provide protection against fire, while also providing buffs like invisibility or agility mods. of course a bullet is faster than screaming in latin so the muggles would ultimately still win, but the wizards wouldn't go down quietly.

They should have made this kino pitch rather than the absolutely irredeemable prequel saga, I'd watch the shit out of that. I wanna see wizard "techs" trying to reverse-engineer an AR-15 or the muggles going mkultra on captured house elves to scry for them or some shit. Spells blowing up power plants, bunker busting Ley lines, the shit would write itself

the concept of the fantastic beasts films is fine, the problem is they thought it was worth exploring over five films when it should have been a trilogy. also a different name entirely, the first film should have been a one-off and then they could have done a grindelwald prequel series.

no the third one flopped and killed the series luckily
i enjoyed all three but a lot of people hated the last one, and the biggest reason was the recast of depp.

To be fair I fell asleep to all of them so maybe I'm missing something, first one was passable iirc. I think HPCU is a tough pill to swallow when they had done 8 movies by that point, I liked the books and mainline movies generally but I am not the demo asking for more.

that's a secondary issue the films had, they were only movies, there was no book series to get the audience excited to see on-screen and by the time the first one came out jk was already on her terf bender.

    underage girls, wearing dress/skirts

    magic
    Immobulus - Immobilizes living targets
Obliviate - Erases the target's memory
Muffliato: - used to prevent conversations from being overheard by filling the ears of those nearby with an unidentifiable buzzing noise

Disillusionment Charm: hides objects and humans
(assuming you can see what you hid, but others can't?)
Confundo - Known as the Confundus Charm, it causes confusion of the target
Cheering Charm: causes the person upon whom the spell has been cast to become happy and content
Colloportus: used to magically lock a door and prevent it from being opened by non-magical means
Scourgify - Cleans objects (of evidence?)
Homenum Revelio - Reveals the presence of another person (if there is one)
Stupefy - The Stunning spell freezes objects and
renders living targets unconscious (or frozen?)

Tell me how the spells aren't made for a specific violation of law (and of a persons body)?
Not even mentioning the love potions and stuff (which are basically magic roofies)

It's basically a porn pretending not to be?

i hate playing that game, shit is so damn tedious. i should be able to cast pantius offus and immediately bend b***hes over. even the fanfics understand that idea better.
