That's why it succeeded. Again, it largely gave people what they wanted in the way that they wanted it. What a weird fricking concept. Produce something for the audience and they'll flock to it.
I never got why Trixie was extremely b***hy to Timmy in part 1, while in part 2 and 3 she acts like Tootie without explanation. I'm pretty sure this movie had extensive rewrites that hamstrung it. That and most of the extended cast only appeared in this as a formality and didn't do shit to help.

I'm not sure how the frick someone could think THIS is the last straw for this IP that has shown time and again it doesn't give a frick how it's used. Unless it's about just being against black characters in anything which it realistically probably is.
