Devil's advocate but Spider-Sense isn't really Spider related either but at the same time like it's really hard to justify giving him so many powers when he barely needs anything beyond Venom Blast already given how useful it is.

Technically, Rocksteady ripped off Spider-Man 3 game's rendition of Spider-Sense.
Yeah but being fair nobody played Spider-Man 3, also I think one of the Amazing Spider-Man games ripped off Arkham Asylum hard too.
Both ASM games, except the combat wasn't anywhere near as satisfying.
I guess Shattered Dimensions also took its inspirations from Arkham, though I guess it was a bit more clever about that than most.
Remember when Peter went blind and after being semi-trained by Daredevil to use his enhanced senses he could sort of see with the Spider Sense?

I remember when Peter lost his Spider-Sense and has developed his own special martial arts style with Shang-Chi to compensate for it. I'll even admit it was one of the few Slott developments that I actually liked and I'm pretty loud about disliking Slott.
Good thing it's all forgotten now so Peter could be a complete chump.
I'm kind of annoyed that Spencer got rid of Peter's job working on the science column at the Bugle. It was a good fit for him
How moronic are these writers, they should know but know the characters are more interesting when the compensate for lost powers not when they gain new ones.
They want to be remembered years down the line. Remember Miles' iconic shooting fire out of his ass power? Would you believe there was a time he didn't have that? Thank god for John Buttface who introduced that, really left his mark!

Honestly, it'd make a novel story to have a superhero fundamentally misunderstand his powerset and brand himself on a misconception that just keeps getting bigger, then trying to stick to that. I know it's not what they're going for with Miles, and they've already poisoned the well anyway, but it could be cool.

What's next? My guess is some kind of super hearing with the excuse that spiders can easily detect small vibrations on their webs.
Considering Ult. Peter came back from the dead and Green Goblin resurrected multiple times and all three share the same OZ serum as a power source, healing factor may be stronger than that bordering on immortality.
Though writers refuse to address that somehow. Weird, considering how much they love wanking him otherwise.
