How many other NWBAHG moments are there? Where a franchise gets BTFO so bad it is forever tainted because of it?
Examples like "It's Morbin time!" ruining Morbius forever
Or maybe SNL ruining The Matrix sequels with it's parody

Family guy
>Quick 5 second jab at BJ makes the creator seethe and get the show cancelled
South Park
>2 full eps of pure seething at Family Guy but they don't even care
Why did Matt and Trey seethe so much about Family Guy?
They didn't like it and kept getting compared to it.
OP, why do you keep up this delusion? Is it because Bojack Horseman was originally billed as yet another Family Guy clone, then sideswiped everyone at the end of the first season by showing it had actual depth to its writing?
> it had actual depth to its writing?
It didnt it was like watching Homer or Peter complain incessantly and then reset to status quo
No
Does anyone in the world really give a frick that this happened other than OP who needs to make a thread about it every few days for several years?
The creator completely lost his shit at this joke, which is why people started spamming it in the first place. They thought Bojack fans would be just as sensitive about it but they kind of weren't, only the creator seemed to be genuinely mad. Bojack fans were just kind of confused about what the joke was even trying to say or why it was being spammed so much, which resulted in this really bizarre dichotomy of aggressive spam being met with "what".
He did the opposite of FG and made a joke.
>h..heh I thought it was cancelled still!
>oh no my show got canceled!!
Oh, so it's Cinemaphile headcannon, got it.
It's a single autistic frick that was personally insulted that a show he did not like made fun of a show he did like. And for the next 4 years complained about it 3-4 times a week.
Total Drama had to lay low for a while after the Fart Goblin fiasco
Powerpuff Girls reboot killed itself with the twerking and the creepy self-insert
How many times has Family Guy seethed?
This
Bob's Burger
Rick and Morty
Any other shows they did these jabs?
DuckTales'87, Rescue Rangers, Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs'93 because theres a anime studio attached to it.
>Thinking NWBAHG actually meant anything
The animal traits played through in every bojack character though, they were integral to the characterization of the cast, so it was a bad take. It's not even a good jab when it's literally wrong. The only people who think NWBAHG is a good jab never actually watched bojack, it's a completely superficial surface level take.
remind me why do people hate this joke again?
At this point pretty much just because of morons spamming the same "WOW LOOK AT HOW EPICMEGABASED FG MADE PEOPLE SEETHE" thread for so long.
Other than that its honestly one of the least interesting jabs they did since its not really that pathetic as some of the others but also barely qualifying as humor either.
I'm pretty sure the only other one they did this to was the simpsons, and there were some king of the hill jokes but those were actual jokes and not them trying to throw shade.
curiously they never did that to south park
Some guy thinks this gag is what got the Netflix executives to cancel Bojack and he has been b***hing and complaining about it on Cinemaphile for years.
>Some guy
The creator has been seething about the joke since he first heard about it.
Weird how we have never seen that or heard of it. Just seen it mentioned here a lot by random anons with nothing to back that up
Most forced meme of all time, probably 90% by OP.
The context of the FG scene was Peter being desperate to improve his own show by trying (poorly) to mimic a better show. The only thing the scene is owning is itself
I dont get it
Harry Knowles killed the Matrix sequels via his Ain't It Cool review where he spelled out every logical problem with the second one. It went from crowd pleasing sequel to cinematic diarrhea overnight.
But bojack wasn't BTFO, people were only mad that it was being spammed 24/7.
