I don't know about Tampines, but you need a good logline/elevator pitch. Reading scripts is kind of interesting, but like 80% of them are really bad and would make horrible movies. Even scripts from produced writers with agents etc are usually terrible. I read a lot of gimmicky horror scripts like "cursed subscription box" lol. I also read a lot of neo-westerns trying to be No Country for Old Men/Breaking Bad.
