Well a movie titled Batman vs Superman is going to feature the Dark Knight. My gripe with the movie is Zack Snyder wanted to be TDKR without realizing why that fight mattered. It was a fight between two old friends.

It should look like a Charlie Rose interview of just Supes and Lex at a table. Maybe, maaaaybe add a Lois cameo, but any more than three characters is way too much.
I can't imagine all the characters who aren't directly related to Superman having more than a couple of minor scenes to establish that a roster of heroes already exists in the new DCU
I have no idea about this movie. I've been quite out of the loop but if is the cast of characters they will use, I don't think it's going to be any good.
You can't have crossovers be good if there is no previous build up.
People want a superman story. One you don't need to watch other films to get. You pay up and get a great experience, and if people like it, they watch more. If you dump all these unknown superheroes on people, they are just going to be confused as frick and not watch. It's part of why the Flash failed, and why the Modern MCU is failing. People just want a singular movie to watch like The Batman but with some connections built from singular movies.
I don't think it has to be a problem. It can be like Invincible. You watch that show and there's all these superheroes, and you're not expected to learn all their origin stories or whatever. This is just the world the show takes place in. I think people could accept that with this movie.
I hope it's good and people go see it. I love DC characters but the movie franchise was so dire, and now normies are even tired of Marvel, but there's good DC stories to tell and I'd love for it to work.

the people in charge of the DCEU are out of options, might as well go all out for the first movie of their new universe
I get going all out but I thought that would be for a SUPERMAN movie, not a DC Universe film with a guy playing Superman in it

Gunn doing the Superfriends is a horrible choice, it's akin to Garth Ennis running DC Comics.
