>shit quality
Then just download in high quality? >pain to play on TV
Even the shittiest TVs support videofile playback. >pain to download
Are you a zoomer?
I just think it’s crazy that when I was a teen videogames and manga were super cheap, widely available at any secondhand shop and now neckbeard hoarders pay hundreds of dollars for the same shit I spent like $5 on
>"uncle anon can we watch a movie?" >"sure thing kiddo" >pull out the CD binder >begin flipping through it >"what kind of movie do you want to watch?" >they have no idea what I'm doing >they don't even know what they're looking at >mfw kids these days don't know about burning movies to blank CD's and writing the title on them with black sharpy then storing them in a huge leather CD binder
lol what if the disc gets cratched or stolen? or its just a shit transfer? or the aspect ratio is wrong? or theres some drm that doesnt match your player?
the more I grow up, the more physical media seems like a waste of time and effort. It’s just a collectors hobby. I have a career and the gym and a girlfriend to bang and impregnate. I dont have time to collect physical media or rewatch the same crap over and over. I can always pirate something if I really need it. I really don’t see the need for a physical collection beyond maybe less than 10 movies.
>How we doing, physical chads?
my film collection is bigger than yours
https://123-movies.zone/movies/page/1680/ >1680 pages of kino, thousands and thousands of films.
I have a disc repair machine.
I use it to sell video game discs I buy cheap.
I do the same for DVDs and sell at flea market for $2 each.
I have a 10k movie library. >But
I am in the business, don't do that. Just stream for free online
this is what I do. I download remuxes and burn them to disc. if it's a movie I really like then I include all the bonus features, including the DVD ones the studio was too cheap to include on the BD. sometimes I even mux in the superior laserdisc audio. can't imagine being a paygay.
>watching movies more than very occasionally (if it's a legendary or classic film) >watching movies more than once (20+ year gaps between viewings are just barely acceptable) >watching movie than one or two movies a year >"collecting" movies in any form >caring what the moron narcissistic director had to say about his movie 40 years later after he transitioned to female
You don't really do this, do you?
I bought a 104 TB Dell Equallogic server with a few extra spare drives for $50 USD and I have an unlimited 650mbit connection.
You are all my inferiors and should feel ashamed of how pathetic you are, just might as well just break out the HDMI cable and google search bar.
We doing great. Physical media plus a kickass home theater setup equals perfection. Streaming data rate is 10 - 15mbs. Physical is much higher, like in the 80mbs range.
You need a receiver (AVR), a 4K blu ray player, three front speakers, two rears, two overhead, and at least one subwoofer, an OLED or projector. All that can be bought for about $5K.
DO NOT buy a home theater in a box or a soundbar. They are inferior. For good quality for the value look at SVS speakers and subs.
No, Atmos setups call for 2 to 4 overhead speakers. You can put them in easily if you have a drop tile ceiling or even sheet rock ceiling. And then you have a true overhead Atmos experience. Not just the fake crap they license the name for.
>drop tile ceiling
if you're living in poverty you should be focusing on many other things before you spend even a single dollar on your home theatre system
>OH N-
>not watching your kino in a hermetically sealed clean chamber
Not going to make it
if you can go in it it's not hermetically sealed
>he doesn't have a robot-wife in the ludo-kino hermetically sealed chamber to swap the disk on demand
NGMI
>Rob-bot, load my kino
Just use a wooden door
>disc rot meme
>blu ray era.
KYS.
i'm eating good with superior picture and sound. I buy used blu rays for like $3 and I have a couple hundred.
>download.
>shit quality
>pain to play on TV
>pain to download.
KYS homosexual. you can always resell blu rays for minimal loss. Less than what a rental would cost.
>pain to play on tv
how?
>shit quality
Then just download in high quality?
>pain to play on TV
Even the shittiest TVs support videofile playback.

Are you a zoomer?
>Then just download in high quality?
there is no download that will match the bitrate of audio or video. now stfu.

Haha yeah, physical.
>makes your 10 bookshelves filled with plastic obsolete
I steal the film if it is not available to me.
>buying movies when you can just download everything for free
Paypigs are fricking moronic
the more that time passes, the less it makes sense to not be a pirate
ripping my files before disc rot sets in
If you're not watching the movie it's the equivalent of a funko pop
As you can see from this creature's expression
get you a man who has sleepless in seattle on HD DVD
>mfw
What is that, 'le privateer face'?
OH N...
It's a good thing I used RAID 5

This is how I imagined you.
Never reply to me again
yep whenever I see people with hundreds of dvds and blu-rays I think it would be much better off at a library or something.
I wanna start a physical collection, I'm tired of streaming shit.
I record every move I watch on my phone, then watch them whenever. I have unlimited cloud data.
Slowly upgrading my favorite films from BD to 4K
why does every fat guy usually have a hideous beard?
If you think the beard is hideous, you should see the flabby, fat neck-chin underneath
oh yeah i know they use it to cope but youd at least think they'd groom it or something
Bought my first physical media in a decade last week.
Oh wow something I never think about and couldn't care less!
My book collection is doing great, thanks for asking

I regret clicking that shit
imagine not having an adblocker in 2023.... I click it and I see pages and pages of kino
I can imagine it because I have an adblocker and got hit with popups telling me to turn off my adblocker
well you need a good one like ublock origin

Any place I can find to synch the T2 DVD original Theatrical audio with the 2015 Blu-ray?

a trivial amount

Normie here, how can I make a good Home media setup?
Decide your budget, decide what features you need, spend a little time researching TV and speaker brands, and then throw it all in the cart
You need a receiver (AVR), a 4K blu ray player, three front speakers, two rears, two overhead, and at least one subwoofer, an OLED or projector. All that can be bought for about $5K.

consooming le good?
Where to download movies bros?
Physical media is for 4k ultra HD 2001: A Space Odyssey with the original 70 mm aspect ratio.
Torrents are for 1080p Ace Ventura Pet Detective.
Most sane people find a way to manage having both a small library of physical media of kinos and a 5TB SSD full of garbage movies.
>Bottom picture
>I cant see my penis
>Me with my 3tb drive of pirated kino
>Funny, I've never had that problem
