A meteor the size of Texas approaching Spingfield. Every episode of the final season is focused on a character and, most of all, on "saying goodbye" to that character, while the meteor is getting near and near. In the final episode, all of the characters meet in one place in silence, and as the meteor is about to hit them, the screen goes yellow.
The family gets hired to act in comedy sketches on the Ed Sullivan show. They then act out the first animated Groening short in actual Simpsons history and after a few lines, zoom up and out of the studio and into the clouds for the Intro shot except it consists of yellow lettered credits that roll for about 20 minutes, demonstrating the vast history of the show. It would be the longest credit roll in TV history.
If they do end the show, it will be something like this.
Homer beats Marge to death and proceeds to rape Bart, Lisa and Maggie to death (he's sexually frustrated because he can't have sex with Marge anymore). Homer then goes to jail where he's killed by... oh, let's say Moe.
Homer fricks something up at the nuclear power plant and it has a meltdown which kills the entire town very slowly and horribly. Afterwards Ned is shown in Heaven but everyone else is back in Springfield like nothing happened. Because Springfield... IS LE HELL
They sometimes come up on my country's tv channels and I leave it running like background noise. Like I said, my impression is that whenever the writers tried something "new" around the 20-something seasons they got such bad reception that now they just gave up on going anywhere.
I would make the final episode be a meta statement about the Simpsons itself
>A famine hits springfield >Everyone starts to starve >Lisa starts growing massive breasts >The breasts start lactating >The family realise they can survive by eating lisas milk >the entire town slowly realises this and also start demanding milk from lisa >as lisa is milked more and more she is obviously in huge pain >her breasts get bigger and bigger >lisa confides in marge she just wants to die >marge explains that although its painful to watch, by milking her it is giving enjoyment to people >a crowd forms around the simpsons house as lisa refuses to be milked any more >crowd turns into an angry mob >homer drives through the crowd, parks up on the lawn and gets on the roof of his car >NOBODY IS MILKING MY DAUGHTER ANY MORE >... >WITHOUT PAYING ME FIRST >puts a sign up saying: Milk $2 >the crowd rushes forwards knocking homer over and all start frantically grabbing lisas sofa sized breasts and squeezing the milk out >Lisa is in agony and they feed in a frenzy over he milk
A really awkward ugly looking time skip episode everyone's off model and older, with Bart and Lisa(she graduated high-school early) leave for university in capital city.
Homer and Marge have a heartfelt goodbye with them but remark that they have the house to themselves finally. Their making out is interrupted by Maggie walking into the kitchen and grabbing something out of the fridge and both Homer and Marge get one last d'oh.
Roll credits.
Then renew the simpsons anyway and a spinoff about Bart and Lisa in uni for the next 15 years.
With a sneed spin off
They're not allowed to stop this show until they reference Sneed again or have him return for one more appearance.
No special final episode. Just stop production.
This
They had the chance to have a final episode with the family together for Christmas and fricked it up.
Murder suicide
With the movie
Holidays of Future Passed would’ve been a good series finale
Homer wakes up and its all a dream, he is just a teen again
he kills himself later
Marge gets BLACKED and leaves homer

That's actually really good

1 final season where the animation devolves back to the tracy ulman show and everyone ages up 40 years along the way
Oh yeah, it wasn't Ed Sulivan. Whoops. I agree though it will be some kind of tie in to the original shorts.
Gory bloodbath
Marge becomes a robot
Car crash. No survivors.

homer fricks up at the nuclear power plant for real and causes a chernobyl like series of events
With a bullet to the head of the israelite that keeps renewing it.
a whole lot of sucking and fricking
Homer fricks something up at the nuclear power plant and it has a meltdown which kills the entire town very slowly and horribly. Afterwards Ned is shown in Heaven but everyone else is back in Springfield like nothing happened. Because Springfield... IS LE HELL
Homer get ipad
It's pointless to think about it. With their current writers they'll frick any good idea up.
How is current simpsons?
I haven't watched since like season 15 or so and it was already pretty unwatchable then.
It's not offensively bad but it feels like a chore. Wacky simpsons era was hit-or-miss but now there's no weight to anything.
Damn. Why do you still watch it bro? Not trying to be an butthole but genuinely curious.

The writing is mostly no worse than it was around the time of the movie, but the voice actors all sound like shit
Homer returned to his home planet and died.
promotion to shelbyville
I miss Phil Hartman

>crowd turns into an angry mob
>homer drives through the crowd, parks up on the lawn and gets on the roof of his car
>NOBODY IS MILKING MY DAUGHTER ANY MORE
>...
>WITHOUT PAYING ME FIRST
>puts a sign up saying: Milk $2
>the crowd rushes forwards knocking homer over and all start frantically grabbing lisas sofa sized breasts and squeezing the milk out

It's just gonna be a couch gag that spans the entire episode. Screenshot this shit for 30 years from now.
The Dangers of DEI with scathing commentary of how it's destroyed Hollywood and The Simpsons.
why did you photoshop weird matt out of this image
