If an Alien was wrecking some other alien or the Predator was hunting some other alien I would be satisfied as long as it was well made. Humans are secondary to both and in a movie of the two fighting they're completely unneeded. The only people who want them included are braindead morons who need someone to explain shit to them like children

just have the Predator be the "protagonist" but make it similar to a serial killer movie like Maniac where it's almost procedural to how it hunts. Have it land on a planet and stalk some "lower" life forms (but big game still so its interesting) to showcase its weapons and powers. Then have it come across a xeno and let the hunt begin.
