Ricky Jervais is a pathetic failure. All the movies he starred in flopped, the US Office was way more successful then the UK one, he's most well known for being a talk show guest and an award ceremony host now, he can't stop fricking snickering at his own material as he's about to say it, he's still telling the same boring atheist material that doesn't hit after 20 years of it, and his last unfunny comedy special was in a dark empty crowdless auditorium that they tried to mask with a fricking laugh track, A FRICKING LAUGH TRACK FOR A COMEDY SPECIAL
What an abject failure of a comedian and an entertainer
>the US Office was way more successful then the UK one,
I bet he cries himself to sleep getting all those royalties from the concept being internationalized to like twenty other countries
I hate how he says "shut up" and acts like everyone's mad at him after every joke he makes. I've seen other stuff of his and I find some of it funny, but this always irritates me too much and makes him intolerable
I think Ricky's a brilliant comedian, but I think his movie's flopped and was told that he'd probably gone as far as he could in Hollywood so he burnt all bridges. Ricky don't give a frick he's rich enough now.
>The first time they're all clearly offended and completely unable to hide how mad they are >The second time they smile through gritted teeth pretending they actually love jokes at their expense
Ricky Gervais? Oh, that British guy that came to America and doesn't get American mannerisms? Wow, he's so quirky and British, it's like he doesn't understand Americans and to me that is really funny! Haha, can you imagine him watching American football? He'd totally stand out for being British! I find him so entertaining and weird! Probably because he comes from Britain or something, haha wow!
I look at Ricky Gervais and I can't keep myself from laughing. He comes from an island far away, in a place called EUROPE. How quirky is that? Like he took a plane or something, to America, and decided to stay in America, but he's not even American! Wow! He's my favorite British comedian, not because he's funny or anything like that, mostly because he comes from an island far away, and to me, that's pretty quirky. Britain? That's like, way far away or something, and now he's here? Wow!
Watch this
I'm British and a comedian in Britain, people like me and consider me funny
Now picture this
I take an airplane to America, and be funny in America too, just like in my island far away
But I would be even funnier, because, like, I come from far away and it's pretty cool and different
I was funny in Britain and now I'm funny in America, and I get to act all weird and quirky with my British accent and it's like I can't keep from making people think about where I come from because I speak differently from Americans.
And you know what? That's part of the joke, being British.
Did you ever hear about that time Ricky Gervais went to America? He looked for a store that sold fish and chips, but he couldn't find it because Americans don't eat that. Quite the culture shock!
he didnt
this. he's been blacklisted
he was?? any leaks?
He just had a Netflix original comedy special release a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't seem very cancelled to me
weak material
Just telling facts.
Controlled opposition.
>The cast was not diverse enough
What did Ricky mean about DeNiro's family?

The US office was more successful and there's literally nothing you can do about it. Kick and scream all you want.

>uhh dude its so awseome hes calling out Hollywood
>also he's way rich so you can't criticize him
Imagine actually watching the US version
Fricking loser
He seems happy. Been with his wife since university and just doing what he wants since
>Coca Cola makes more money than Dom Pérignon therefore is better
What? You're telling me Champagne is better than Coke? No way is Champagne better than Coke!
Who did moronic atheist get away with being unfunny?
I hate how he says "shut up" and acts like everyone's mad at him after every joke he makes. I've seen other stuff of his and I find some of it funny, but this always irritates me too much and makes him intolerable
I know what you mean but to be fair the c*lebrity scum in the audience is visibly mad.

it's almost as if the distance he travelled to get to America is the joke itself!

He was in the right.
I TOOK AN AIRPLANE FROM BRITAIN TO AMERICA BUT I WAS STILL BRITISH BY THE TIME I GOT OUT OF THE AIRPLANE
AND IT'S SO FUNNY
how did he not get away with it?

If the rest of the world had good fish and chips, there would be no reason for the UK to exist
