He's unironically better in the reboot but Humungousaur's real problem is the size change power is a shit power to have, he's meant to be the big huge heavy weight alien but 99% of the time he's no bigger than Fourarms was in the OS they should've just made him kaiju size from the start.

I don't know I find it funny that Ben is so boy brained that his go to is just being a big dinosaur.
Something that I would think is a no-brainer for a dinosaur based alien would be a pair of powerful jaws with sharp teeth so he could bite his enemies in addition to just hitting them. But apparently not, apparently herbivore is the way to go.

He's just the one Ben spammed the most because he's monkey-brained and always goes "big strong guy good" as his default option to things since he's the simplest guy for him to just hit things with and then hit them some more if that doesn't work, what bothered me is him still spamming the shit out of this guy once he got back Four Arms despite Tetramands being at least stronger at a base level and more agile/maneuverable and generally having more utility

Huh, you're right. Looks like there were a couple aliens introduced in the OS aside from the original 10. That would be Cannonbolt, Wildvine, Upchuck, Ditto, Waybig, Eye Guy, and Spitter if you count the future episodes.
Arctiguana and buzzshock too in a way. Not so sure about nanomech though, he did come from the live action movie but I always forget where he first appeared animated
