She looked more cute rather than pretty. You could argue it is the "aging" taking the form of her design change like Vaggie, becoming more "adult-like" rather than teenager. But Charlie and Vaggie are supposed to be immature adults, acting and looking like teenagers despite being in their 20s. Charlie's childlikeness emphasizes her genuine nature in contrast to Blitzo's psychopathic manchildness emphasizing his terrible relationships

A24 probably made Vivzie redesign the characters, but keep in mind that the YouTube debut of Hazbin was a pilot, and design changes happen
Still, I agree with you on Charlie. There was literally nothin about her design that needed changing, same with Vaggie
My guess is that Vivzie owns the merch rights to the characters' original designs, which is why merch with the pilot designs is still being sold even after the redesigns, so A24 are changing all the characters even when it's unnecessary so they can own the rights to future merch based on the full series.

Honestly I was hoping this particular character would be cut entirely. His inclusion seems superfluous, but maybe that’s just because he didn’t have much of a role in the pilot.
