Growing old is already a b***h, I can't imagine how much of an existential crisis it is when your whole image revolves around being a buff hunk.

tbf he never even wanted to be an actor he wanbted to do musicals and stage shit hence the great showman? i think he just did the role in the first 3 and enjoyed being in the spotlight but wanted to move past that eventually
i thought logan was the perfect send off for him as the character and jackman playing the character

It really is wonderful how much Hugh Jackman really, really loves musicals and show tunes. Like, it's not even a gay thing, you can tell he's straight. Fricker just really loves musicals. He's a modern day song and dance man. An Australian Danny Kaye.

I'm sure that the riches, fames, and endless supply of new pussy helps sooth that crisis.

        Same thing with Jackman

        Same as above.

you can take drugs+bodybuild into your 50s but it probably won’t be worth it if you want to live a long life with minimal health problems. then again Hemsworth doesn’t have to go hard like others do when they compete.
it is a lot more convenient for men as opposed to women who rely on their facial features.

Playing Thor is really the only thing that's ever worked out for him.

He's doing pretty well on Netflix. Extraction was a hit and is getting a bunch of sequels, and he was praised for Spiderhead even if the movie itself got middling reviews. They're also producing the Hulk Hogan biopic that miight be his shot at an Oscar nom.

        >Chris Hemsworth is playing Hulk Hogan
I'm genuinely surprised. That's an extremely controversial role to play.

It'll become less controversial in the next five years or so. Thank God Waukesha finally woke some morons up.

            >It'll become less controversial in the next five years or so.
I don't really think so. If the filmmakers make Hogan likable then the usual suspects will come out and whine about he's a racist sexist bigot who shouldn't be seen positively. If the film portrays Hogan in a negative light then everybody else is pissed because everyone will blatantly see it as a hit piece.
            >Thank God Waukesha finally woke some morons up.
Huh? What are you talking about?

Not if Natalie Portman is directly involved in the scriptwritting. She pushes "the message" far too hard for any of her movies to be enjoyable.

Super weird Thor ended up being the first MCU superhero to get a fourth movie given his first movie was just good and his second one was just bad. Given Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is confirmed to be the last one, if Tom Holland doesn't come back Thor might end up being the DSP of the MCU: You didn't expect him to keep going but he will outlast us all.

I think it's cool. He's an old warrior god and could go on more adventures in-universe for longer than most.

Sounds like a huge waste of time IMO.
But that's why nobody will remember my name.
I spend my time on shit only a few people care about, but not enough to the point where the people who care about it a lot think I'm one of them. The ultimate casual, who can get by on superficiality.

He was good in Thor 1 and Avengers, but I hate his interpretation after that. He turned Thor into a bumbling sitcom character.

Thor was a drunken idiot God in the original myths though, so it's not that faithful to Marvel but more faithful to that at least.

Hemsworth just seems like a genuine dudebro that hit the jackpot. Thor really is his only claim to fame, he haven't been able to branch out into other roles or been a draw otherwise. Remember him and that mulatto chick in the new Men in Black? Neither do most people. I say good for him, though. Double good that he is aware of it. The MCU Thor might just be the hero with the most single movies at the end, save perhaps for Spider-man.

That's fine, but they need to bring back Jane so she can be on the Avengers. I can't take Thor seriously, he shouldn't even come when they assemble next.

its not him thats would stop thor, it would be disney not wanting to pay him more for every film, its easier to kill him off replace him with hercules etc, then recast thor in 10 years like they are doing with cap and iron man
